I love the look of disgust on JJ’s face when defendants tell her that they don’t work but got $6000 from the US govt (EITC refunds).
Several times she has caught young, healthy men lying-—collecting disability (usually latinos)-—AND able to work. She then announces she is turning them in for govt fraud.
He gets $437 from St Paul's County to use to pay rent because he goes to school (an Obama voter) and lived with his girlfriend claiming here in defense that his girlfriend offered to let him live with her for free, so he could spend the money on himself as if he won the lottery. But it obviously is not section 8 funding that requires that the money go to rent.

This case also reminds me of ANOTHER reason why I gave up watching JJ, her obsession with child support.
In this case the county gives this loser $437 per month under the guise of rent money for students with NO requirement that he actually spend it on rent or even have rent expenses....,
but JJs’ favorite handout scam that she promotes endlessly is child support that forces certain fathers (non-custodial parents) to pay the mother child support under the guise of childs rights yet there is no legal requirement that tells the mother what she must use that money for, and many on JJ’s show used it for gifts/loans to new boyfriends .
