this is catch-up, imho -- they were mildly positive in the last session, as was the Dow.
However, things could be snowballing.
I wonder what sorts of thoughts are going through Timothy Geithner's mind -- wait, no I'm not.

This Yahoo! Fincancial chart will update every time you refresh this page. It will also reflect the current day, so if you're reading this thread and it's not August 5th, 2011 (in Japan), then this chart won't match the discussion because you're looking at your current day's NIKKEI chart.

Black Friday redux? We know the July jobs report will be “unexpectedly” low already.

It’s going to be another bloodbath tomorrow.
Jobs report comes out tomorrow. It’s not going to be pretty.
I got out several years ago.

Singapore and Malaysia are slightly up. The others are crashing.
The bigger problem is that, at our current point of moral degradation, an American Spring would be dominated by the Left who feels redistribution is going too slow.

I'd like to see it brought to a head and get it over with once and for all. Plus, it would be great to have them start it. jmo

“I got out several years ago.”
So did we. Paid off the small loan we took out on the house, bought gold & silver and bought a new truck for cash, not a check, CASH.
We are debt free and it feels good.
