WI: State Patrol called in, youth policy imposed after violence at State Fair
Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal ^ | 8/5/11

Gov. Scott Walker has ordered the Wisconsin State Patrol to provide additional law enforcement help at the Wisconsin State Fair after several incidents involving rampaging youths broke out on the fairgrounds and on the streets outside Thursday night.

Cullen Werwie, Walker's spokesman, said the governor made the decision after reviewing the events from Thursday night, in which at least 24 people were arrested.

"We will continue to evaluate the situation and make any adjustments necessary to ensure a successful and safe event. We will be doing everything in our power to ensure that parents feel that it is safe to bring their children to the world's best fair," Werwie said in a statement.

Also, Rick Frenette, CEO of the fair, announced that, because of the violence overnight, the fair would immediately implement a policy in which no youths under 18 years of age would be allowed onto the grounds after 5 p.m. without a parent or guardian who is at least 21 years of age. There will be no changes at the Midway.

Frenette, a veteran of 40 years in the fair management business, said he had never implemented such a policy before. The International Association of Fairs and Expositions said there is only one other fair in the country -- the South Carolina State Fair -- that has such a policy.

On Friday afternoon, Mayor Tom Barrett announced an increase in police presence at community events planned for the week. He said there would be no tolerance for violence at festivals and that perpetrators will be prosecuted -- regardless of race.

Most everything is free. You do have to pay for parking (About $3-$5)if you can’t find a spot on the street. The only thing you pay for are the midway rides and games and your food. There is a charge for the Demolition Derby. It’s a nice fair.

Agreed. Not a boycott, people just don’t want to be where there is chaos and danger.

I’m glad you pointed this out (that is, that this is happening all over). We just had one of these “mobs” or “flash mobs,” or whatever one wants to call these groups of Black youths (and it is, so far, always Blacks)who range in age from early teens to early 20s, intimidate people at a local street fair in the Cleveland Heights suburb of Cleveland. The councilmen put a very stringent curfew into effect for that area and then tried to get a law into place about making it illegal for people to use social networking to set up one of these mobs.

Well, the mayor of Cleveland - Frank Jackson - pooh-poohed the social networking deal, which was so ridiculous anyway.

These kids obviously have nothing to do with their time. Why do they have so much time on their hands? Why aren’t they doing chores or working some kind of jobs? Parents buy their kids everything today and don’t make them do any work.

Every one of the situations I have read about involved very racial situations: Blacks targeting whites. However, in the Cleveland Heights situation, I think it was just Blacks targeting everyone. Old people, little kids... no matter.

Are people going to wait for some murders before authorities not only put a stop to this nonsense but call it what it is. It’s like reverse lynching.

Pick your recreational activities, FReepers. Ask yourself this: what can happen there, and is it really worth it?

Spend the money on bullets. Take the family out target shooting.

Equip your children for survival.

I was in downtown San Antonio last weekend and a crowd of about 30 young blacks were standing in a corner and all of a sudden police bike patrols rolled from around the corner, boxed them all into a perimeter and started checking ID’s & making arrests. That’s what it’s come to.

40-60% young black unemployment PLUS a large percentage on welfare, false disability, and social benefits = a majority of under 30 blacks have not and have never truly worked.

I’m just glad I live 200 miles from any other ethnic group other than Whites & Indians; and I get along with both. This sort of thing is getting ridiculous, if that ever happened here; somebody would be shot on the spot. Everybody carries sidearms in rural Alaska, mainly for bear protection; and yet there hasn’t been a murder in over 30 years; and that last guy was drowned by his drunk buddies in the Yukon.

I can’t help wondering whether these incidents are not practice runs for Obama-style poll-watching in November 2012.

We whitey's are not intimidated... we have lives and responsibilities we take seriously. If we even raise a pinkie, the full force of the PC media and law come down on us. Working family people do not want to risk jail and lawyer fees, their jobs, and ruining everything, even if actions are justified. Me, I believe in justice and would not sit idly by, regardless. We need to get back to hanging car thieves and the sort. These punks are cowards, and one on one, or shown the slightest resistance they run away. Eric Holder's wink and nod to the ghetto dwellers is behind this stuff. Even police are cautious about reacting, knowing they will be scrutinized up the gazoo if any yutes are injured. Time all good Americans start putting social miscreants in line: black or white.

Definitely !

AND they're surely being coordinated.

As a goodly portion of these animals wouldn't have the first idea or care how to go about voting,
you can make long odds that cash changing hands somewhere along the line.
The kind of 'campaign' money being raked in by the WhiteHut slime can buy a lotta boxers and bling.

The naivete being expressed among some in the threads on this topic is staggering/depressing/sad.

Helter Skelter, and the fuse is burning short . . .

Blacks feel like they have the upper hand. “Its our turn now”.
Yesterday I pulled up to a red light and there was this black mother crossing the street with her baby girl{Looked around five}.
the little girl gave me this dirty look and flipped me the middle finger. She learned that somewhere.
We have become so paralized with hate.Black and whites at each other throats. This sounds like what Obamas regime wanted all along. His own private army of thugs brainwashed to hate white people.

So all the kids get put on restrictions because a mob of blacks won’t act right. We are racing to the lowest common denominator.

Well, I decided to go to the Ozaukee Fair tonight. It was lovely. I don’t know your relatives’ children’s ages but they have activities for all ages. The little ones have their own ride section.

You buy a string of tickets and pay for your rides with tickets. There are llamas & goats. There are about 6 camels, and you can get up on one of them and have your picture taken. You can also get your picture taken with a live monkey, if you want. I think it’s $8 bucks if they take it and $4 bucks if you use your own camera.

Of course they should visit the Republican tent which is next to the Farm Bureau tent and across the aisle from the cream puff tent. The Republicans give all children free balloons and they don’t even make the kids promise to vote Republican when they grow up.

The Farm Bureau tent has the best meals and places to sit. They start out with breakfast which is served starting (I think) at 7 AM. The Fair is not open until 8, but the FB feeds all the kids that have spent the night with their animals. The public is welcome too. It is always a good breakfast (with free milk, including chocolate) and it’s cheap. They serve hamburgers, brats, and beer the rest of the day.

There are all the usual exhibits, and there is entertainment all day and night. All of the entertainment is free. I’m sure that there will be more schedules available tomorrow.

Then there is the BIG midway with bigger and scarier rides. And lots of games. And lots of animal exhibits. I only looked at the poultry and rabbits tonight. I’ll probably go back to check out the horses and cows.

And no fights.

Thanks for the great information! They decided to go north to their country place and spend the weekend, paint the bedroom up there.

The fair sounds wonderful...wish I were there.

PS, their kids are grown and married. They have very young grandkids, all under 5 (I think, if I’ve kept track) but they would have enjoyed the Republican tent.

This whole thing makes me sad. I love the State Fair. I grew up a mile or so away and spent many days of my childhood at the fair.

My great uncle was superintendent of the fair grounds some time back in the 30s or 40s and lived in the house that became the administration building in State Fair Park before the current administration building was built in the late 80s. I never met him, but my family always had a soft spot for the fair.

Because of work, I spent time at the Waukesha County Fair this year and I’m not sure I’ll bother going to the State Fair this year. I may stick to county fairs and avoid the rabble.

Would you provide some recent examples of whites being at blacks' throats?
