NASHUA Three reserved parking spaces for hybrid and low-emission cars at the new $3.3 million state liquor store are located closer to the stores main entrance than the handicapped parking spots, causing at least one lawmaker to call the design a slap in the face to the disabled.

I would presume nothing, at least not yet. My company car is a Ford Escape so I went and got a Hybrid emblem (they have a hybrid option) and glued it on. There aren’t that many restricted parking stalls around these parts (yet) but I have parked in the ones I have encountered.
I would never park in a handicapped stall, but the two are in no way analogous.
