My first house was bigger than that, 1000 SF....$17,900.00 in 1967. Also, yard, basement, garage, driveway. Added a deck. Sold for $30,000 in 1977.

they have finally found a buyer It sounds like this was on the market for less than 2 months.
They "finally" found a buyer? I've lost track ... is real estate selling like hot cakes again?? Is two months on the market considered a slow seller today??

That is 875 square feet (more or less) in realtor’s terms. It is about the size of my two car garage (more or less). In Queens, about $20,000 is about right. I don’t think anyone will take it off his hands for less than that.

As sick as it may sound, $449,000 for a two-bedroom apartment in Queens is not outrageous (that is, in terms of relative market prices - in terms of actual value for the money, that's another discussion). A search on zillow.com shows that there are plenty of apartments meeting that general description for sale for that much, or more, see here:
http://www.zillow.com/homes/queens,-ny_rb/#/homes/for_sale/Queens-New-York-NY/apartment_condo_type/270915_rid/2-_beds/850-900_size/pricea_sort/40.904778,-73.074676,40.437106,-74.588043_rect/9_zm/.
It's quite possible that they'll get more than $449k for it because of the celebrity factor, but it wouldn't be out of the ordinary if they got $449k.

I guess we were wrong. She really is pregnant. Wonder if Weiner or Hillary fathered the child.
So funny that their initials pillows spell out HA on their marital bed. Pretty appropriate.

875 square feet????? One room in my home is bigger than that. Good Grief. I could not live with another person in a place so small.
