UN Tree Too High for Palestinians to Climb Down
The Mideast Update ^ | August 5, 2011 | Joshua Spurlock

The Palestinian intentions to go to the United Nations for statehood recognition has been strangely slow in being fully pursued. The Arab League has issued support for the Palestinians in some format on three different occasions in the last few months, but each time it has seemed the door remains open for the Palestinians to pull out. Apparent disagreement between at least some in the Palestinian leadership further amplifies the atmosphere of hesitancy. But that doesn’t mean there’s really room to hit the brakes.

The US is still trying to get the sides back to talks again and expressing opposition to Palestinian unilateralism. Further, Israeli media, including The Jerusalem Post, has reported that the Israelis are even expressing more openness to making concessions ahead of a renewal of talks in an effort to jumpstart negotiations and head off the UN approach.

However, recent Palestinian rhetoric has escalated the UN statehood matter to what certainly appears to be a point of no return. Comments, including those from Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Malki that were published by the Ma’an News Agency, that the Palestinians will go to the UN regardless of where the peace talks stand have placed Palestinian leaders on record about the issue.

Faux statehood for a faux nationality will mean they’re in an immediate state of war with a neighboring state, which will then kick their asses all the way out into the Sinai, where Egypt can wet-nurse them.

Obama’s political games have set off two major international incidents.

He led the Palis to believe he hates Israel in the disrespect he consistently show to Israel. Over and over he strikes a pose as a homey chatting up slavery with a descendent of a slaver. He oozes disrespect and hate.

The other thing is spoking the markets and getting the credit of the US downgraded by playing the game of a radical community organizer with the debt. He gets Timmah on television telling the world America will default on it’s loans if evil Republicans don’t do what Obammy says. He puts his own mug on television looking like a guy who will perfectly willing to burn down the house because he can’t find his socks.

He likes to present the picture to the world of being in charge of a super power that has lost it’s mind in the hope all his destruction will be blamed on his political opponents and he’ll get ahead politically.

He should be impeached before he his thirst for punishment of the American middle class progresses to mass arrests and exterminations of the “terrorists” - his political opponents.
