You have to view it as a sort of CIA OP. You go behind enemy lines, figure out what they are up to and then come back and report.

MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Austan Goolsbee, former chairman, White House Council of Economic Advisers, Panel

Maddow and Goolsbee laugh as one panel member(Rich Amano?) states tax cuts have produced more revenue with examples.

Goolsbee “6 months ago when we were growing at a more robust rate”
[he must not have got the memo about the numbers being revised down]

Maddow is now challenging the credibility of S&P, ignor the debt, challenge the messenger

Goolsbee saying treasuries are the safest, to which, the GM bond holders didn’t find them that safe when government regulated the GM bail out...

Greenspan gets some math, the super-committee just needs 1 RINO...

Omigosh, fried brain sandwiches. Never ate brains myself, but in my long ago youth my auntie, who ran a boardinghouse, would serve brains and eggs every Sunday morning. It attracted quite the crowd.

My sister and I would sit on the stairs and gag and pout.

Speaking of McCain...

....sort of....

I’ve made a major but very difficult decision. Prior I’d said, on this thread and to people in my surround, that I’d had it with RINOs...that my days of Mike Castles and Juan MCCains were behind me. Thus, so I argued, I would NOT cast my vote for Mittens (Mitt Romney)should he get the Repub nomination, a quite likely event. I’d never vote for Obamer, instead I would vote for no one.

I’ve changed my mind on this.

If given a choice between Mittens and Obamer, I’m going with Mittens. This is how bad I think Obamer is.

Because if Obamer gets the nod again from the electorate there will be no stopping him, I don’t care if the pubs own both the House and Senate.

Obamer will take his re-election as a mandate from the people that it is perfectly okay to dismantle this country, to appoint czars to go around duly elected legislators, to thumb finger at the constitution, to install death panels, to open our borders to the world and to punish states who try to protect their own, to spend money with no debt ceiling, to allow the undeserving a mortgage, to give money to non-existant black farmers, to galavant across the world and in our White House, to call those charged with protecting our safety the bad guys. Romney, as I figger, will only do half of the above.

Though I hope and pray that for God’s sakes please do not make me hold my nose and pull that lever again still and so, I will if I must.

Amazing,Rachael Madcow Dykeman now on NBC squawking about how it wasn’t their fault!! The statistics were revised!
What she is referring to is that ever since 2007(when the Socialists controlled both houses) the left has been manipulating employment and other statistics in their favor and only recently got caught or “revised” the numbers “before they got caught” and now they can use the new numbers as an excuse for more non-performance.

If you didn’t see it in living color you wouldn’t believe it.

I know we keep getting mad at the bias and the obvious dems/commies plan to blame our side for the debt crisis, “it is Bushe’s fault”, “it was a problem for years when I took office”...point is, we can get all mad as much as we want, but in the end, if we can’t convince the people via the MSM who we hate that we DID NOT CAUSE IT...that is with good, easy 6th grade illustrations and explanations then we are toast. That’s the truth and we better have a good plan, well orchestrated to reverse the trend and NOT ASSUME THAT THE PEOPLE ARE THIS STUPID to believe the left, because the truth is they ARE THAT STUPID and do believe them. Even though the CBS/WSJ poll was skeyed, it still is reported as fact that the congress is to blame for the debt crisis...

WE BETTER GET REAL BUSY reversing the message. REAL BUSY!!!

is he (Obama) hoping for “unrest?”

Of course, he's creating it as he goes and with deliberate attempts at doing do. Imagine the security around his bus route and the disruption to traffic to secure his ground!

His followers and those he buses in will be there in droves, just as he attempted to pack all other "theaters" he's dwarfed with his cult personality when he ran before. Unfortunately they still remain willfully blind.

The question remains if there will be our opposition on the street as well? If so cameras up and ready 24/7.

Excellent post as usual kabar.

And, its true.

We can not support a socialist move to nationalize the country and destroy capitalism. Its simply won't work.

the two theories are in direct opposition and will always lead to endless conflict.

The answer is to vote out all rinos and socialists and create a entirely new government as we are doing.

Kerry blaming Bush? Hah, it’s all Bush’s fault that he’s not president.

So many nightmare possibilities that Bush prevented, ‘specially Gore and Kerry.

Other than Paul Ryan FNS was dullsville. You would think the shows would have something to talk about today, but they are in pure defensive mode.

Another beauty of the Tea Party is they are not run by polls so when they manufacture one, who cares. Who is the Tea Party and what are they polling? Sorry NYT, nobody believes you or your polls anymore.

Pray for America

I cannot get my brains around the idea of a sitting president taking to the road in August.

Yeah, and what-up with the communist/moslem usurper standing in front of American Flags decrying this "messy democracy"?....Hey Einstein! what about "and the republic for which it stands"?

Stand down and get away from our flag.

I’ve become a pacifist. Sorry. That helicopter shoot down just reinforced it.

We shouldn’t be in any middle east country. No matter what we do, how many lives we lose, how much money we spend, six months after we leave, things will be exactly the same.

I agree with Palin who said no wars unless American interests are directly involved.

Being a pacifist (in my case) does not mean I wouldn’t bomb the heck out of any country that attacked us. Collateral damage would be sad, but they wouldn’t do it twice.

Sen Rubio is not perfect—his stance on illegal immigration and some social conservative issues continue to be in flux-BUT and that's a big BUT-he is FANTASTIC at presenting governmental fiscal and constitutional arguments from the conservative point of view.
The man is well together—we just need to bring him into the full Tea Party togetherness—then the Latinos may someday soon be proud of their first Hispanic president at the same time the African Americans can only be ashamed of THEIR first..

You should get an award for just looking at that ugly man/woman. Never can understand the lesbian thing trying to look like a man? If you are attracted to women, why look like a man??

Only explanation is to broadcast your homosexuality to get liberal cult points. Certainly has made her millions.

Pray for America

I read that article this morning on the Telegraph site and both re-tweeted it on Twitter and posted it on another forum.

I found it interesting to read from the perspective of someone on the outside looking in, who sees with much more clarity the situation and the character of Americans.

This is a real test of the American character. All of us are going to have to give up the easy way of government support, even those of us on Social Security (of which I am one). There is no reason why everything in the country cannot be scaled back 10%, from military contracts to government salaries to Social Security and welfare payments. Elderly who are solely dependent on those checks should be helped by charities and churches, maybe local governments.

It is, more than anything, a national security issue.

And we also need to drill and mine and get our energy system under control.
