Luxury watch maker Tag Heuer announced they are ending their relationship with the world's former top golf star.

The contract is believed to be worth more than $10m (£6m) and the Swiss firm are the sixth major sponsors to drop Woods following revelations about his personal life two years ago.

The Swiss watchmaker suspended use of Woods' image in the US after details of his extramarital affairs came to light following a 2009 crash outside his Orlando, Florida home.

"My prediction that Tiger will announce his engagement to Casey Anthony and replace Joe Biden on the 2012 ticket is still alive, LOL."

You know, in all seriousness, his fall mirrors Bobo's -- Tiger screwed over his wife and kids, Bobo screwed over the USA.

Isn’t it ironic that food stamps have the signing of the Declaration of Independence on the front?

That I do not know, The TAG has been the most accurate watch I have ever owned.

I have a Casio waveceptor that I bought a few years ago for about $89. I monitor real time telemetry with IRIG time and my watch is ALWAYS dead on.

So I take it you like it. I'm seriously looking at a Tag Aquaracer 500m to be something nice to wear that I could later pass down to one of my sons. I really wanted a Rolex Submariner but failed to convince my wife that it was in our family's best financial interest to let me spend several thousand dollars on a wristwatch. I considered a used one but there's too many risks involved in buying a used Rolex if one doesn't do a whole lot of research.

Anyways, the Aquaracer has that classic Submariner styling and from what I've learned might just be a better watch for a fraction of the cost of a Rolex.

The TAG keeps better time than my Rolex did.

It is a UK publication. Thus the grammar is correct for the UK which uses a plural verb with a collective noun.
The English have a strange way with the English language.

I did not know that. Thank you. I knew the s for c thing on certain words but not the plural verb rule.

I remember hearing about a sign once that said: French and English spoken here, American understood.

Same concept, sorta? :-)

How ironic, since his presidency is taking a dive.

That's a hard question to ask. TAG and Breitling have different target audiences. Breitling caters more toward the aeronautical and TAG to the ground based. The two sets have different complications that escalate the prices of the time piece.
On just a monetary aspect, TAG is less expensive than Breitling. If you're looking for a cost to function comparison, I would suggest TAG is closer to Omega.
