During his interview with Obama 2012 campaign strategist David Axelrod, "Face the Nation" hoe Bob Schieffer played a clip of President Obama talking with NBC's Matt Lauer a few weeks after he took office.
AXELROD:...We're in a different place than where we were than the day he did that interview --
SCHIEFFER: Well, we are. Things are worse than they were.

I think the "are you better off today than you were when Obama got elected" is a valid question for the 2012 elections.

I still remembered back in 2008 that Schieffer was drooling all over obama in his weekly shows, but boy, how the worm has turned..

You can tell AXELROD is lying because his mouth is moving.
It’s not hard to find hundreds of interview clips pre-Obama and post-inauguration that look pretty darned silly now. This administration has been an epic failure by every measure they used and promise they made.
The campaign ads in 2012 have written themselves.

You are correct. Schieffer isn’t jumping ship. He’s part of an MSM ‘intervention’. Tapper did a similar thing the other day. They’re trying to snap Obama and his enablers out of their party-and-fund-raise daze and get them to address the problems. Schieffer, Tapper and a couple of other less moonbatty MSMers see the writing on the wall, and it scares them witless. They want the ‘light-worker to pull out of his tailspin and turn it around before Nov ‘12. Ain’t gonna happen, but that is the motivation.
They cannot get off there fast enough!

That was before he promised that unemployment would not go above 8% if we just let him spend a lot of stimulus money. Yea, right.
We need to turn the libs (and the “media’s”) words back on them. The Repub presidential election catch phrase should be “We can’t go back to the failed policies of the last four years.” Keep repeating it. Have everyone say it every chance you get. Force the “media” to report it.
How stupid does one have to be to still be rooting for that team? It's like they are whacking themselves on the head with a hammer saying, "Marx assured me this doesn't hurt...maybe this time it won't - ouch!"
