Guess you are not from the DFW area.

I was just in Southlake this past Saturday evening, and yes, it IS a Dallas suburb. Quite so.

And if you want to be more specific even, it is the Westlake area. Oh, you aren’t that off with that part though. Their centers are only a couple miles from each other. Basically the same, but oh yes, we’re talking a Dallas suburb.

Glenn announces move to Dallas

Glenn made a major announcement on radio this morning, albeit a personal one – Glenn, his family, and a small number of staff members will shortly be relocating to Dallas, TX!

“I’m moving to Dallas, Texas, and my family is there now, and I will be there shortly.

(snip)

“We are moving to Dallas and we’re going to build a film and television center and radio center in Dallas and we’re going to create some jobs with people who know how to create jobs in Texas,” he promised.

Oh yes indeed. Unless you want to argue with Glenn Beck about himself too, he is moving to a Dallas suburb.

Matter of fact, I was born and raised in Dallas. I moved to Euless in ‘69 and then to Grapevine in ‘86 (where I still live). Grapevine is adjacent to Southlake, so I’m very familiar with the area. We are considered to be suburbs of Fort Worth, since we are in Tarrant County.

Also, I’ve heard Beck and his crew several times talking about him moving to Southlake. He may have used the “Dallas” reference like the cable TV folks do when talking about the weather map, just to give listeners an idea of what part of Texas he’s going to; because people in other parts of the country would have no idea where Southlake might be.
