I was just in Southlake this past Saturday evening, and yes, it IS a Dallas suburb. Quite so.
And if you want to be more specific even, it is the Westlake area. Oh, you aren’t that off with that part though. Their centers are only a couple miles from each other. Basically the same, but oh yes, we’re talking a Dallas suburb.

Im moving to Dallas, Texas, and my family is there now, and I will be there shortly.

Also, I’ve heard Beck and his crew several times talking about him moving to Southlake. He may have used the “Dallas” reference like the cable TV folks do when talking about the weather map, just to give listeners an idea of what part of Texas he’s going to; because people in other parts of the country would have no idea where Southlake might be. JMO
