Got the decimal point wrong, but there are plenty of sources online w/ information about a ranch, although I hadn’t read the denial, which you cite. Must be similar to the Palins buying a house in Scottsdale, which as far as I know, hasn’t been confirmed either. Personally, since the euro and Europe seems to be headed down the tubes, a nice South American ranch might be a really good idea.

No one is signing up? They are profitable before even going live. I personally know people from as far away as NZ who signed up pre-release just to show support and they were folks who had to TIVO the US FNC show or stay up until the wee small hours in order to watch.
Also, Beck has had every single one of his books become a Number One seller on any list you can use.
I think what drives folks nuts about Beck is the way he manages to tease out relationships among events most folks think are not related. Then, he turns out to be correct. It _is_ a case of “sewing together bits and pieces”. Beck does not panic or sow panic, either. He advocates knowledge is power and preparedness plus community solidarity where everyone helps their neighbor. It is the antidote to panic mongering.
IMO, Beck has just begun.
I think that particular canard was spun to counter the fact that Turner and other big progressives have purchased hundreds of thousands of acres, including entire lakes in Ushia (sp?).
IIRC, that began back in the 90s, when someone did a study showing that a nuclear blast in the Northern Hemisphere would spare the extreme southern hemisphere land areas.
The various deals in Paraguay were also in support of the Argentine fascists. The land was owned by the K’s, who were the modern Peronist dictators of Argentina. It was a win-win for totalitarians.
OTOH, I seem to recall that the Bush family might have donated something for a nature preserve in Paraguay, which got spun into buying a private enclave. No time right now to search that.
Do you have any evidence of this? Glenn isn't shy about tooting his horn on the radio, but says little about this venture except to do the normal advertising. I may be wrong, but I can't find any stories about the success of GBTV. I know that his radio program has lost some stations over the past year. Ratings issues. Some big markets too.
IIRC, it was on the GBTV site a month ago. Again, IIRC, Roku may be adding his show.
Glenn freely admitted that he was betting it all and that his money people did not think he could pull this off.
If it’s true, it isn’t bragging, so I have never found Beck offensively promoting himself. Anyway, we’ll see in the next 6 months if he can keep his audience. I am not a Beckbot. If the GBTV offering isn’t up to snuff, I’ll cancel. I paid the $5/mo for the summer in order to get the discount for after September when the show airs online. I don’t begrudge a promotion that benefits both parties. Since we also have Roku, it will be nice if they pick up the show, as well. We are cutting our Netflix account back to one DVD+streaming since they raised their price, so we are not throwing our entertainment dollars around, these days. Beck will have to produce or he will lose us.
