Beck was 100% correct in spite of some putting him down. Look at the UK. We will be next and nothing will stop it. Lock and load. Get ready and the difference between UK and the US is there will be some dumb as@es in pain.

Really. Beck was ten years behind most FReepers.

What you suggest would be the LAST mistake the libtards would make. Did you ever read Vonnegut’s “Sirens of Titan”? Think “Army of Mars”.

The only thing I find wrong with Beck is that he is so optimistic.

It is understandable that the left hates Glenn Beck. He's exposing their agenda like no one else.

What really dissapoints me, however, is those on the right who claim to be conservative yet seemingly enjoy denouncing Beck. I think what motivates them is the knowledge that if Glenn is right it means that something might be required of them. They know that if the country and the world are really in the dire straits that Glenn portrays, then they might have to step outside their comfort zone and actually take action. It is simply easier for nominal conservatives like these to ridicule the messenger.

Yet, as others have said many of us have seen all of this coming just as Glenn Beck has. He has simply been the one to trumpet it from a national stage. The fact that some on the right choose to join the left in ridiculing Beck says nothing about Beck but everything about themselves.

These people may talk a good game and exhibit the outward appearance of a conservative, yet when the chips are down they turn out to have no real conviction at all. Their "conviction" evaporates the moment acting upon it would inconvenience them in any way. They love to play conservative when it gives them license to criticize liberals (rightfully so, of course) but suddenly fall prey to the "normalcy bias" when the truly dire nature of our situation is revealed.

Everything that Glenn Beck has spoken about has already been right before our eyes if we have had them open. There are unfortunately some who become wilfully blind once they glimpse the truth.

By the way, the one point that Glenn has made that I think is more important than any other is his contention that nothing else matters unless "We the People" are focused first upon God. Our founders knew this; they knew that a system that would give the people unprecedented freedom would lead not to freedom but instead to anarchy and then tyrrany if it was populated by people who were not focused on God. All of the politics in the world won't solve our current problems unless we return to a focus on God and stop relying on our own shifting notions of what constitutes "morality", notions that ultimately guide our policy decisions. Without an immutable, external moral code (God and his Word) our system will simply not work no matter what else we do.

My point is this is a concerted effort to destroy this country and capitalism. It’s bigger than one man. IMO, ofcourse.

Panic? He said to buy gold back in 2007.

So did G Gordon Liddy

Glenn is a Ron Paulite. Constantly says he is the only guy he likes running. Enough said. Even when Stu and the other guy cite the odd positions of Paul, he sticks with him. Enough said.

“Beck is going online and moving to Texas.

While TX is a great place to move for taxes but I think there is more to it. Like safety. When the SHTF Texas is where I’d want to be. People down there know how to protect themselves.”

In Texas if someone enters your home uninvited, you can shoot first and ask questions later. Beck is going on the internet and you will be able to view his daily program at your discretion 24/7. He is going to drive the libs up the wall.

They drove his television sponsors away, but there will be no sponsors on the web show. You will have to cough up a fee to view, but it will be well worth it. Keep the faith. It is all coming in September. Just go to GBTV.com for everything you need to know.

I think George W. Bush buying a million acres in Paraguay says a LOT about the possible future of this country. I don’t think it was just for investment purposes.

I think George W. Bush buying a million acres in Paraguay says a LOT about the possible future of this country.

Never heard that rumor before...so I took a moment to source it.

Purportedly, it's 98,400 A. -- not a million acres.

The report came from something called "Russian Intelligence" in 2007 -- which claimed that Jenna fronted the deal. And it was picked up by the likes of a.) The Guardian, b.) Counterpunch, c.) Pimpinturtle, d.) Wonkette and e.) something called "The Power Hour".

And it has been denied by Paraguay, the U.S. State Department and Bush spokespersons.

So, why would a FReeper repeat such a spurious story...from such unreliable sources?

Didn’t think that but.... Imagine if it were whites tearing blacks out of cars and beating them how fast would Obama be on a TV and Holder would send the SWAT team?

Soros has sufficient resources that no one is going to be able to get to him physically if he doesn’t want to be got. It is not like he pops down to the Quickie Mart for a six-pack now and then.

Exactly.

I tutor highschool kids that are all above average in school. Their parents care and the kids are doing the “right” thing.

Some of my students I stay in touch with are now over 25 and it doesn't sound good at all. $50k+ student loans and very few good jobs to show for it. Those lucky enough to get a job were nearly all through family connections. The ones that actually left home are scrapping by with roomates and spending everything on taxes and basic expenses. Maybe a 2% raise per year and no chance of having their own home in sight. Starting wages have been the same for 10+ years.

Something is gonna give when all these kids can't live with their parents anymore. Even scarier is the kids with no real parents...

The first action of the police in the LA riots was to disarm the Citizens ditto for Katrina in NOLA.
