Your statement is one very good reason for every law abiding citizen that can be armed, should be armed. Daily.
The day when a flashmbob meets the an armed citizen who fights back will be the Rubicon point.
Those who make up flashmobs are used to gun violence and they do not let things go, hence all the violent crime in our cities. They WILL retaliate, it’s in their nature to do so. Against who they will retaliate is unknown, but given their proclivities it will probably be random and spontaneous and most likely lethal. The Knockout game becomes the shootout game.
This is just information for all law abiding armed citizens to consider. DO NOT be afraid to defend yourself and your kin, but understand the ferals are doing flashmobs for revenge in the first place, and successful armed resistance will set the stakes higher for all parties.
Anyone ever wonder why in the days of our forebears when there were no rubber bullets, no security cameras, no tear gas, no walking walls of police with large plastic shields, no ability of the police force to quickly get to the criminals in automobiles, there were not constantly riots everywhere?
Our forebears hanged rioters.
I’m not talking about lynching. I’m talking about a public trial followed by a public hanging in which thousands of people turned out to watch the hanging.
The liberals claim it is unseemly for people to watch murderers and rapists and rioters being put to death as justice for their acts.
But the lesson was indelibly imprinted in the mind of the people.
When a mob sets aside all constraint by the rules of human society and arrogates to itself the right to destroy, recognizing no authority, the proper response by human society is to try, convict and hang the leaders of that mob.
A failure to do that is to surrender the very legitimacy claimed by a human society of laws over roving bands of lawless predators.
Probably end up with "drive-bys" in "rich" neighborhoods.
They will go after whom ever is closest to them and their “targeted” group.
The danger is that in public areas, that leaves a lot open.
