My point is they can do that even without Hussein’s law...they’ve been moving toward such actions over the past few years.
The media is trying to make it look like Hussein’s law is responsible for Walgreen’s effort to make money.
I was actually rather impressed with their in-store clinic. I had to take one of my kids there with strep-throat symptoms at a late hour. The nurse-practitioner on duty said it looked like strep, but she ordered a lab test to be sure. Did not want to prescribe anything before getting the test results.
The kid kept fussing the next day so I ended up going to a hospital ER where they prescribed antibiotics. The test came back from Walgreens saying she tested negative for strep. She completed the antibiotics anyway and the throat was still sore. So obviously she didn’t have strep.
Their level of caution and professionalism blew the hospital away. The ER doctor just wanted to write a scrip to get us out of there.
