Polar bears drowning in an Alaskan sea because the ice packs are melting—it’s the iconic image of the global warming debate.
But the validity of the science behind the image—presented as an ignoble testament to our environment in peril by Al Gore in his film An Inconvenient Truth—is now part of a federal investigation that has the environmental community on edge.
Special agents from the Interior Department’s inspector general's office are questioning the two government scientists about the paper they wrote on drowned polar bears, suggesting mistakes were made in the math and as to how the bears actually died, and the department is eyeing another study currently underway on bear populations.
Biologist Charles Monnett, the lead scientist on the paper, was placed on administrative leave July 18. Fellow biologist Jeffrey Gleason, who also contributed to the study, is being questioned, but has not been suspended.

I’m sure the story was fake but accurate. I can’t imagine that Nobel Prize winning super-genius Al Gore would be wrong after the careful study he put into this issue.
Despite the fact that globull warming is falling apart and is showing that practically all of the data is either lies or manipulated to fit the outcome, Obastard and his EPA are STILL trying to foist Cap and Trade on us by executive fiat.
Obama will have them fired by the weekend.

As a service organization assisting federal & state public employees, PEER allows public servants to work as "anonymous activists" so that agencies must confront the message, rather than the messenger.
In other words, it is the goal of PEER to subvert federal and state environmental laws by having so-called "public servants" commit anonymous acts of sabotage and interfere with the proper administration of the laws.
Just what we need - organized activists holding positions of public trust and responsibility colluding and intentionally violating that trust in order to advance their ugly leftist agenda. Does anybody dare use the word "conspiracy" to describe that activity?

Back when Al Gore was starting his co-ed chasing career, I worked with a guy that spent his entire hitch with USCG in the Bering Sea. He recounted seeing polar bears swiming along over 100 miles from land ! He also noted the critters would apparently “rest” by floating.
A polar bear’s hair is both hollow and a “light tube” directing solar energy down to his black skin. Kinda hard to believe something with its own air-filled all over life vest, that can shut its nostrils can “drown”. Or that someone in an aircraft 1000’ above can make a determination of the cause of death, either. >PS

Actually, I find this quite creepy.
The Democrats face TOTAL Electoral DESTRUCTION should they go ahead with their stupid idea.
Somebody in there has suggested they might well review the Polar Bear Clause now that the Republicans know all about it.

What’s creepy IMO is that the regime under Holder’s DO”J” has already said they will take no action. Apparently envirofrauds are Holder’s people too, even if they’re white.
