Noted, but there is still Zechariah 13:3.
And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.
Not that any "votaries of the prophet" would believe such, but they will believe eventually.

The difference is Warren Jeffs represents a fringe position within a minority religion. He and others like him seek to isolate themselves from the rest of society. Islam proclaims its views directly and is what we all know it is. An expanding and aggressive world religion/culture that represents a threat to our national security. The very foundation of Islam is power orientation and the liberties the Faithful (males anyway) are given to ‘do with as they please’ with non Muslims is the greatest strength of Islam. Islam is globalized thug culture taken to the highest level. I may find Mr. Jeffs to be be repulsive but I don't fear him. Islam is something we all need to be on guard against all the time.

“because they cannot condemn or ignore his practices, they inevitably go to great lengths to rationalize or justify them—to find the good in every situation their prophet was involved in, while being oblivious to all the bad.”

Sounds alot like the Democrat party and their “Taxes are the cure for everything” belief.

Jim Jones & David Koresh were self described prophets, too.

Muslims rationalize pedophilia because so many of them engage in it. It’s a product of the religion.

Earlier this month we saw—or rather, were once again reminded—that Islam permits pedophilia in the guise of "marriage": Top Saudi cleric, Dr. Salih bin Fawzan, issued a fatwa asserting that there is no minimum age for girls to marry, "even if they are in the cradle," and that the only criterion is that "they are capable of being placed beneath and bearing the weight of the men."

What a absolute PIG this Saudi freak is.

Oh my gosh-Arabian men have HUGE SEXUAL PROBLEMS so apparently they have to latch on to a dirtbag like mohammed to justify the abuse they are willing to lay upon (no pun intended) little girls.

Arabians must be desparate men-disgusting.

I cannot believe the filth Islam wallows within-may God bless ALL of the women and little girls who live as slaves to those dirtbags.

If you want to truly understand this issue, this websit is a must read:

When I was in college, we read Nawal El Saadawi’s book “The Hidden Faces of Eve,” as part of our World Religions’ curriculum. Absolutely chilling.

Chilling indeed.

Theologically though, she is very ignorant to accuse Christianity of the same kind of misogyny. It’s the same old idiotic trope of “Christian Victorian morality thinks sex is bad and evil”.

I guess she never read St. Augustine, where he said that sex would have been more pleasurable before the Fall than after it.

islam is so full of justified evil - pedophilia, polygamy, rape, murder, lying, stealing, & theft - it is obvious it is the worship of satan.

To call islam a great religion is to admire the worship of satan.

I am astounded at churches that invite this evil into their church & call it an equal to Christianity. Pure Blasphemy!

There are many who say the Judeo-Christian God is the same God of Islam. Hogwash! The God who gave us the 10 Commandments & the Golden Rule cannot be the same God who told mohammed (piss be upon his head) to rape children & commit mass murder. One cannot commit jihad & "love thy neighbour as thyself" at the same time. Polar opposites.
