They aren’t supposed to eat pork at anytime.
They aren’t supposed to eat ANYTHING during Ramadan till after sundown.
I've been trying to work out a recipe involving bacon-wrapped shrimp with a piece of fresh pineapple in the curve, basted in bbq sauce, but so far I've either overdone the shrimp or underdone the bacon. I'm thinking if I half-cook the bacon in the oven first? What do you think?

Strange thing happened to me earlier. I FReepmailed someone earlier and it came to me, so I copied and pasted it to the same FReeper. I got it back again. The third time, I typed the freeper's name and it worked.
Actually, I kind of like this. Sure, the basic premises of Islam and Ramadan are awful. But, there’s a strangely reassuring application of democracy in punching out a high muckety-muck who appears to be acting badly!
Turkish member of Berlin state parliament Orjam Mutluin... entered the restaurant and ordered a pork meat sausage. But the restaurant staff said that the MP should not eat pork sausage during the Ramadan. After short dispute the restaurant staff beat the MP.Yeah, that's a normal reaction.
