President Barack Obama has forcefully rejected calls for Attorney General Eric Holder to resign over a controversial federal law enforcement operation that allegedly allowed hundreds of guns to flow to Mexican drug cartels.
Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) and the National Rifle Association have called for Holder's resignation over "Operation Fast and Furious," the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives investigation that monitored suspicious gun sales. Several of the weapons have been recovered from drug gangs in Mexico and two guns were found at the scene of the shooting death of a U.S. Border Patrol Agent last December.
However, when asked at a roundtable with Spanish-language print media on Monday whether Holder should quit, Obama said flatly, "No."

There's no justice, its just us.
If Obama is backing him, Holder’s got problems. Think about Obama’s track record. He’s touted a lot of companies, many of which subsequently went bankrupt. What sports team has he picked that didn’t go on to defeat? He backed Libya’s rebels who have been getting their butts kicked ever since. Based on O’s record, it looks like Holder’s days are numbered.
There’s a campaign coming up. If ever there was a time to hold the media and 0bama to account it is NOW. It is up to his opponent to hit him on this constantly with the corruption and dictatorial moves. Day in and day out bring it up. Campaign issue waiting to be exposed.
I don’t want Holder to resign because that would pretty much end “gunwalker” and provide Obama with a firebreak.
Far better that Holder hang on, embattled and embittered, lashing out at his enemies as he paints himself into a corner with his own words.
He’s dirty. Everyone knows he’s dirty, including Obama. Letting him resign and scurry off into well-paid obscurity is far too good for him.
Translation: Obama will pardon him if need be.
Social justice. It’s the new ends justify means alternative to constitutionally assured justice.
Its good hes being asked, Holder is going to face questions about NOT prosecuting kids who were attacking white people, gun running, murder of an American agent, by holders guns, not answering subpoenas from the house committee’s. It goes on and on, I really like how rats slithering around, are furious about it.
payback is a bitch. Ask your liberal cousin, neighbor, or the know it all across the street.

More than a little significant that the first public question was by the Spanish-language media.
Obama’s reign is tottering. It was easy to prop him and his corrupt, radical minions up when Obama still had good poll numbers. Now that he’s as popular as the IRS it’s a different story. Not to mention that his enablers and supporters are getting tired and disillusioned. Obama had a good run but he’s losing it fast. Issa can’t investigate forever. Sooner or later he’ll have to act, and that will be the beginning of the end for O.
Expect a special prosecutor.
I want O’bummer to run again and win reelection. His short time in the limelight has done more to further a Republican cause than any other person to date. Sure we have to clean up his messes faster than he creates them but that causes gridlock with other socialist agendas. Of course, with O’bummer’s assistance, Congress has to be purge of Democrats along with some Rhinos next election to get back to square one but it is a start. We can always thank O’bummer later using impeachment.
As far as Holder goes, when the rank and file begin turning in heads of State then you know where there is smoke there is fire.

I’d like to agree with you, but these people are too slick.
There have been a number of decisions that warranted Holder’s firing and nothing has become of it.
Let’s just get rid of him. He’s gonna be a rich man no matter what. He’ll probably even get a spot in the next democrat administration.
But he can do less damage if he’s out of there.
