Fast & Furious Straw Buyer Faces Charges for Gunrunning

Ureil Patino, a prolific 25-year old straw-buyer, is responsible for a large percentage of those guns purchased. Authorities estimate that he purchased upwards of 720 firearms before federal agents apprehended him this past January. Of those 720 firearms he purchased, at least 157 ended up in the hands of Mexican drug cartels.

According to prosecutors, Patino bought 72 AK-47s in one 12-day period. And, perhaps what’s most frustrating, he continued to purchase these weapons under the auspices of the ATF.

In fact when he walked into the Lone Wolf of Trading Company in Glendale, Arizona, last August and ordered a suspiciously large quantity of firearms (only four of the guns Patino was looking for were in stock), the dealers immediately alerted the ATF, who they had been fully cooperating with.

In an email, the ATF Supervisor David Voth replied to the store manager’s alert, "Our guidance is that we would like you to go through with Mr. Patino's request and order the additional firearms."

Apprehended him? He was working for them, wasn't he? How deep is this coverup going to be?

Was he one of the ones on ATF-made video that Melson watched? One of the ones where field agents called in to get permission to take down and were told to let go?

Soon to be found hanging in jail cell or allowed out on bail never to be seen again.

He's more likely to disappear so the real culprits in government can get a pass...

Sounds like the ATF decided to actively prosecute one of their tools as a sacrificial lamb and put some positive spin on their corrupt and illegal operations.

Who do they think they’re fooling?

These people are truly id10Ts if they think anyone but their most brainwashed sycophants believe a word of this transparently phony nonsense.

Natives getting restless? Time to kill the scapegoat! Call the high priest and the witchdoctor.

And the ATF was alerted to the large purchases LONG before he was arrested and they instructed the field agents to tell the FFL dealer to go ahead with the purchases.

Most of their CI’s are eventually consumed by their handlers.

ATF an most alphabet agencies are to large to do anything properly an economically. To many drug store heros off the reservation IMO an experience.

Local pd an sheriff etc catch more of their trash than does those agencies responsible to oversee their socialist gamesmanship.

Doom on em....all of em.

Fast & Furious Straw Buyer Faces Charges for Gunrunning

To me both "straw buyer" and "gun running" are phoney crimes put on the books only to prevent people from exercising their natural God given right to self defense. The world would bw a lot better place if people could feely arm themselves. Of course oppressive governments and their corrupt police and other corrupt bureaucrats would rest uneasily, but this is the essence of freedom

720 firearms is NOT a straw case.
A straw case a couple guns. 3 at most.
One is customary because it only establishes that someone lied on the application .. being a convicted felon, buying for someone else etc.

720 is a scapegoat ... and a poor one at that.
