Obama: I’m being vilified just like MLK, Jr.
Legal Insurrection ^ | August 13, 2011 | William Jacobson

Posted on 08/13/2011 9:19:44 AM PDT by bkopto

At a fundraiser in New York, Obama likened his efforts to reform government to those of Andrew Cuomo, but then Obama also compared what he was going through to the trials and tribulations of Martin Luther King, Jr. (via Sam Foster):

Before leaving, Obama likened himself to one more figure. Martin Luther King, Jr.

“I think that we forget when he was alive there was nobody who was more vilified, nobody who was more controversial, nobody who was more despairing at times,” he said.

Obama and King have a lot in common. Love of America’s enemies and socialism for starters. I can just hear FR’s “But MLK was really conservative” gang already...does anyone bother to read what he actually said and did or wonder why Buckley, Magnus and Goldwater loathed him or Ho adored him?

I remember that side of him, as well. My father said as much at the time, and gave me articles to read about MLK. Though he has done good in his life, he was a communist, but after his death, his life was altered to fit the agenda, not to mention the millions the family received.

Actually, I think at that time, Tiny Tim was more vilified than MLK Jr.

We need someone like Herman Cain to say the following:

“Obama, I knew Martin Luther King Jr.

I worked with Martin Luther Knig Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a friend of mine.

You, sir, are no Martin Luther King Jr.!”

Stay tuned, Obama will next compare himself to William Wallace (Braveheart).

Personally, I think of Mitt as Scott Evil. He’s not quite evil enough. He’s semi-evil. He’s quasi-evil. He’s the margarine of evil. He’s the Diet Coke of evil. Just one calorie, not evil enough.

Obama claimed he was another Lincoln. But all he has is Lincoln’s ears. Then he claimed he was another Reagan, but all he has is Reagan’s ability to give a speach. Now he wants to claim he is MLK but all he has is King’s kinky hair.

Bless his heart. Maybe if, first his father, and then his mother, hadn’t abandoned him like a used tissue, he would have a sense of self and a sense of self worth.

If Obama is becoming like Cuomo and MLK then that must mean he’s got a mistress with a cable TV cooking show and the FBI has a mike under his bed.

My goodness, now he’s a civil rights warrior. I have never seen anyone since Bubba Clinton struggle so hard to scrape together a lasting legacy than this failure.

Mr Barry Lincoln Reagan MLK Soetoro, although I DID NOT vote for you, there is one thing I am willing to do for you. I will personally come to the WH in Jan 2013 and pack your things plus your familys things (carrying Moosechelles food alone might kill me), carry them on my back to the truck, put them on the truck and give you the Ladybird salute (just being polite) as you drive away.I’ll even pay Hazmat to come and clean. All this for the paltry sum of 14.2 trillion. You can make easy installments, I’m not picky.

Although it might be hard for you to do this from prison, I am also willing to accepr royalties from book deals, any money from prison interviews or speeches from cell 1 (bad exchange from AF1 huh Barry)and any inheritances you may recieve during the remainder of your life.

After all, you did say we all need to have skun in the game. We’ll start with yours.

Negro please! He’s hammering the wedge just a little deeper, each time he speaks. Obama is no Martin Luther King and illusions of grandeur notwithstanding Obama is not being vilified - he is being verified. His policies and his direction for this nation are failing and people are discovering that. People are starting very much to not like Obama and it has nothing to do with the pigmentation of his skin, no matter how much he says it is or wishes it to be. What he is doing now is telling us he has the race card and that he is not afraid to use it.

MLK invoked Supra Positive Law in Birmingham Jail. Bambi denies it and spits on the Constitution, grinds it into the dirt, tries to destroy the idea of Just Law—equality under the law—where MLK embraced those ideas of the Founders words in the Documents.

As Bambi tries to create a fascist government—he is much more similar to Mussolini with the sexual perversions of a Hitler.

There is no comparison.

He plays the Race Card and the Victim Card at the same time.

That's some vintage whine and sheeze right there.

The American people gave him all the power in the world and he incessantly complains that the American people are picking on him. The President of the United States, playing the victim... That is just pathetic.

This is the Victim Card and it has been notably played by the last 2 Democrat Presidents but not, to my knowledge, by any GOP President.

I recall President Bill Clinton declaring (after the Lewinsky Scandal) that he was the most maligned President in US History about the same time that Hillary and her cohorts gave birth to the corresponding infamous meme of the "Vast Right-wing Conspiracy".

Now we have President Obama making a similar reach and adding the Race Card on top of it like a cherry and sprinkles to an overflowing Sundae confection. We know why they do it as it appeals to their base constituencies and their cultural viewpoint.

My belief is that it is a sure sign of a sinking ship and desperate strategies. We are winning!

My vote for the most unjustifiably maligned President was and is Abraham Lincoln. When you have editorials and cartoons portraying you as a misshaped baboon even before you are elected and that persist throughout your presidency, that pretty much trumps anything that Dress-stained Clinton and Peace Prize Obama have gone through.

Of course he`s right. Don`t you people recall all those times King had Teleprompter trouble? And how about MLK`s famous love of golfing? Not to mention all those parties with celebrities at taxpayer expense...

Obama`s fatal flaw is on display here; even with the liberal complaints about him, Obama keeps yakking like everyone in the world loves him. He is a man who has never been told he`s done wrong, a man who believes merely existing earns him the applause of the world.

He`s a whiney baby who not for one second believed those lies he told about being nonpartisan, and never learned that the president is the country`s president. The country means nothing if it cannot be a tool for his self-aggrandisement, a cookie jar other people`s labor fills while he hands out treats to the undeserving, while he has nothing for the earners but demands for more...all so he can be applauded.
