The thing with Cain also, is that he has been doing well in many instances but the media is ignoring him. So slowly but surely he is building up. He also has, for some time now, been way out ahead of all the others in what Gallup calls “positive intensity” (and also favorable rating). Which is to say, once people hear him and get to know him, they don’t just like him, they like him a lot and stick with him. He was only 200 votes behind Santorum in this straw poll. Bachmann has raised a lot of money and gotten a lot of media attention. The media, including Fox, have paid far more attention to Santorum and Pawlenty. Even at the debate Thursday (was that the worst debate ever or what?) he got very few questions. But we shall see. He’s a good man and used to a tough fight so I don’t see him giving up.
I understand he’ll be in Iowa at the fair tomorrow.
Perry is scheduled to be in Iowa Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Venues I don’t know except on is to be in Waterloo and Bachmann is something in Waterloo that same day.

She is a three term congressperson.
She is in her third term, which she just recently won.
She has not been in congress for twelve years, which is what a six term congressperson would have been.
Each term is two years, six times two equals twelve.

As for Bachmann being establishment, you might want to ask the tea partiers who support her in droves how come they are so stupid?
You might also be a fly on the wall and be interested in what Boehner, Cantor et al have to exchange about her in private discussions.
