Today, many question the role that Americans should play in the future of Iran. It is generally accepted that it is in Americans' best interests not to support the resistance there through war or sanctions, but rather to educate the Iranian people. After all, supporters of the established tyrannical regime are mostly old, uneducated, or poor. Islamic volunteer vigilantes are imported via bus and provided with food, housing, and funds to support the government.

“Transforming Iran into a truly representative democracy will likely require outside help before definite, significant, and lasting change occurs.”

Considering how this nation’s military is currently engaged in 5? 6? hot wars, has been worn down with a decade’s long occupation of two turd world nations, is financially broke and about to slash the military budget, I don’t think taking on the IRG is such a smart idea right now. Oh course if the author would like to do his part, he’s more than welcome to enlist.

“Generally accepted” is quite the weasley phrase. Especially considering his later call for an ambiguous manner of foreign intervention.

I think that it shows something about our military and CIA actions that nobody has used a Tom Clance approach to letting the mullahs see that IED in Iraq or Afganistan = IED in Iran. Bombs in churchs = bombs in mosques IN IRAN.

When they use the english language they need to comprehend the meaning of the word ..democracy, it’s origin, heritage, culture, infrastructure and the fact that the rights, freedoms, and liberties started with the cornerstone , the Magna Carta... all a product of the English Christians.

It doesn’t simply mean one man, one vote.

Everything about it is antithetical to Islam. Given that, they are going to have to do some soul searching when they contemplate “democracy”.

By golly, he's right -- the US should be sending lots of foreign aid to the Iranian regime, starting yesterday! /s
