A guide for John Kerry on debt repair
Boston Herald ^ | August 15, 2011 | By Holly Robichaud

Brace for impact! Sen. John Kerry has been named to the supercommittee that will help decide the financial future of this country. Seeing as Anchors Aweigh Kerry has only a 3 percent rating with Citizens Against Government Waste and an overwhelming propensity for raising taxes earning him a 6 percent rating with the National Taxpayer Unions, I thought that he might need some common sense suggestions.

• Enable liberals to lead by example by letting them pay more taxes.

• Repeal Obama-care.

• Eliminate the National Labor Relations Board.

• Abolish the czar layer of government.

• Preserve the home mortgage deduction.

• Institute the line item veto. It might force President Obama to actually make a decision.

• Take back the unspent stimulus funds.

• Get our money back from Brazil.

• Reform Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. Loans should be given strictly based on income and credit score.

Excellent list. You may want to add: Demand proof that Kerry has paid the luxury tax on his boat to Massachusetts.

In 2000, voters decided to lower the Mass. tax rate from 5.85% to 5% by a 59 to 41 margin. To appease the voters who voted against the reduction, they put in an option on the tax forms that lets voters pay the old, higher rate.

People are very predictable. Almost no one choose to pay the higher rate. Typically, people against lowering taxes really want other people to pay higher taxes...not themselves. Of the 3,240,000 returns filed in 2005, only 1,162 opted for the higher rate causing less than $200,000 in extra taxes to be collected. The latest data for 2006 shows that of the 1,540,000 tax returns filed, only 424 people opted for the higher rate. The average income of these people is $20,000.

I bet if the one could check a box that forces their neighbor to pay a higher rate, more boxes would be checked.

Quit denigrating the Tea Party

Tea Party sounds a needed alarm

"Worse than pointing fingers at the Tea Partiers, however, is when a government official demands that they be frozen out.

Speaking on MSNBC the day S&P lowered its credit rating on US debt from AAA to AA+, Massachusetts Senator John Kerry called on the media to blackball the Tea Party and its message..."

It’s a travesty that this Gigolo ,Coward, War Criminal, and Traitor is in the Senate in the first place.

To place him on a premier slot of 6 Democrat Senators who are supposed to iron out problem with the debt ceiling is an example of a Democrat leadership that is not only out of touch with America, but mentally insane.

Here is a man who never worked a day in his life , who married for money ,twice,,has 5 houses and a boat he does not pay tax’s on sitting on a committee to screw over the Middle income hard working Americans.

Harry Reid must be insane.

Kerry’s solution to debt problems: Marry a rich woman. Then divorce her and marry a richer woman, who got her money from a Republican. Problem solved.

"...if the United States were to set a date for withdrawal the prisoners of war would be returned."-J.F. Kerry

"Under questioning from the Committee, Kerry referred to the democratically elected government of South Vietnam -- our allies -- as a "dictatorial regime, the Thieu-Ky-Khiem regime," while respectfully calling the North Vietnamese communist regime we were fighting by its oxymoronic official name, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, and the murderous Viet Cong's political arm by their preferred "Provisional Revolutionary Government.":

June, 1970 -- Kerry joins Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW), a national veterans group that is part of the Peoples Coalition for Peace and Justice. The PCPJ is a broad coalition of local and national organizations, including the Communist Party, USA, "committed to conducting demonstrations aimed at ending the war in Indochina, and poverty, racism and injustice at home." The VVAW, CCI and PCPJ all have headquarters at 156 Fifth Avenue in New York City. VVAW Executive Secretary Al Hubbard, a former Black Panther, is also on the coordinating committee of the PCPJ. Hubbard soon appoints Kerry to the VVAW's Executive Committee, bypassing the normal election process.

Fact: The Black Panthers were revolutionary communists...

From the Maoist Internationist Movement:
[1960s/original] Black Panther Party [BPP] Archives
From the article: REVOLUTIONARY HEROS

"On May 1st, May Day [1969], the day of the gigantic Free Huey rally, two of Alioto's top executioners vamped on the brothers from the Brown Community who were attending to their own affairs. These brothers, who are endowed with the revolutionary spirit of the Black Panther Party defended themselves from the racist pig gestapo [i.e., the police].

Pig Joseph Brodnik received his just reward with a big hole in the chest. Pig Paul McGoran got his in the mouth which was not quite enough to off him.

The revolutionary brothers escaped the huge swarm of pigs with dogs, mace, tanks and helicopters, proving once again that "the spirit of the people is greater than the man's technology."

To these brothers the revolutionary people of racist America want to say, by your revolutionary deed you are heroes, and that you are always welcome to our camp."

November 22, 1970 -- During a fund-raising tour for GI deserters, Vietnam Veterans Against the War and the Black Panthers, Jane Fonda is quoted in the Detroit Free Press as telling a University of Michigan audience:

"I would think that if you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would someday become communist," and "The peace proposal of the Viet Cong is the only honorable, just, possible way to achieve peace in Vietnam."

John Kerry and the VVAW--Hanoi's American Puppets?
"Two recently discovered documents captured from the Vietnamese communists during the Vietnam War strongly support the contention that a close link existed between the Hanoi regime and the Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW) while John Kerry served as the group's leading national spokesman."

John Kerry, from his book, The New Soldier
"We will not quickly join those who march on Veterans' Day waving small [American] flags, calling to memory those thousands who died for the 'greater glory of the United States.'..."

"The John Kerry quote comes in the epilogue to "The New Soldier," the book put out by Vietnam Veterans Against the War [VVAW]. The book's cover features a group of not-particularly sober-looking anti-war protesters (vets, presumably) flying the American flag upside down [while mocking the historic flag raising event at Iwo Jima]":
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1203164/posts

Note John Kerry's name at top right of The New Soldier

"We will not quickly join those who march on Veterans' Day waving small (American) flags, calling to memory those thousands who died for the 'greater glory of the United States.' "

So John Kerry would have a difficult time marching with those waving small American flags yet had NO problems marching with those waving HUGE VIETCONG FLAGS?

Only 3 things on that list that I can support:

Kill Obamacare
Kill the NLRB
Abolish the Czars

The line item veto gives way too much power to any President.

Liberals have always been able to send money to the treasury over and above what's required. They don't. What Kerry should do is lead by example, and send more of his wife's money to DC. Let's see how his marriage handles that.

Keeping the mortgage deduction doesn't fix anything, though it would avoid making things worse by absolutely killing the home market, and at the same time killing the banking market for new mortgages. Guess which of those 2 problems cause the politicians to lose sleep.

Fanny and Freddie should be killed, not reformed. They only exist to make sure the banks can make money on home mortgages without risk.
