Perry's Problematic Pals
American Thinker ^ | 08/16/11 | Pamela Geller

Posted on 08/16/2011 12:39:06 AM PDT by American Dream 246

Texas Governor Rick Perry announced Saturday that he is going to seek the Republican nomination for President,

..........snip.........

Sounds good. But Perry has been sucked into the propaganda vortex, and is now wielding his enormous power to influence changes in the schoolrooms and in the curricula to reflect a sharia compliant version of Islam. He is a friend of the Aga Khan, the multimillionaire head of the Ismailis, a Shi'ite sect of Islam that today proclaims its nonviolence but in ages past was the sect that gave rise to the Assassins. Perry has concluded at least two cooperation agreements between the state of Texas and the Ismailis, including a comprehensive program to feed children in Texas public schools and taqiyya nonsense about how Islam is a religion of peace. Another agreement stipulates that Texas officials will work with the Ismailis in the "fields of education, health sciences, natural disaster preparedness and recovery, culture and the environment." Perry let on that this was all about whitewashing Islam's bloody historical and modern-day record: "traditional Western education speaks little of the influence of Muslim scientists, scholars, throughout history, and for that matter the cultural treasures that stand today in testament to their wisdom."

It gets worse.

Ohhh but I hear Ricardo is a fighter. He’ll fight for every corporate donor that throws a nickel his way and with all that corporate sponsership. Surely he’ll beat Obama this way a Republican can be in office when we dismantle this country...

A good comment there at American Thinker:

By Concord Bridge
When Perry finally threw his hat into the ring, I thought that he might be a substitute for Sarah Palin [although not a very good one]. If Perry was as good as some people claim, then Sarah might not decide to run.

Now, Pam Geller informs us of Perry's cozy relationship with Islam through the Aga Khan. That gives me pause. Now the Aga Khan may well be very different from the Muslim crazies we read about daily as lucretius informs us. But until I know more, any cozy relationship with Islam is pretty close to the kiss of death for Perry. The very best thing that Perry can do is to get ahead of the issue and tell the voters all about it. Failure to do so means it will simmer and cause many to doubt that Perry is the answer. Further, I am interested in what the Aga Khan has had to say about Muslim terrorism. Has he denounced it in no uncertain words or has he danced around the issue or even ignored it.

Muslim terrorism and Muslim immigration together with the advocacy of Sharia both have the very same goal as stated clearly in the Koran, world domination by Islam and the death or enslavement of all non-Muslims. Maybe, if Perry would read through the Koran, he would understand the bigger picture of Islam, historically and currently.

The "Islam" issue will hurt Perry in the primaries, although if he becomes the Republican candidate, Obama can hardly use it against his. I have held my nose and voted far too many times. The last thing I want to do is decide which of the two candidates is less enthralled with Islam. God forbid.

Please be more specific as to what I am blinded by. I guess I should have placed in neon lights that sign of S A R S C A S M. Personally speaking I have lived through 3 Texan presidents and my unborn great great grandchildren will be forever in their debt.

Perry is not the conservative that some on FR try to make him out to be. He’s a self-serving career politician who’s more beholden to big business and his globalist masters, than he is the American people. And I’m convinced he likes it that way.

I am sorry - I should have sent to ALL. My point is: I was born in France and I saw with my own eyes how the muslim invasion happened. VERY slowly - NOBODY took it seriously at all and those who did - same story than with hitler - were vilified. See France now? Were is UK now?

If you don't believe it can happen here - then nobody will fight and it WILL happen here. It's already happening - slowly - they are so bright to use our system against us. And they are succeeding because either PC or blindness of the populace and treason from the government - the muslim brotherhood is already in the White House (30 Seals down? Fort Hood?). They know what they are doing and they are doing it very well. And we are too stupid to get it. I am sorry but I don't want to see America become UK or France. That's all.

Here’s what all the new “news” is really about - an attack not just on Governor Perry but a planned effort to get his opponents to say and write inflammatory remarks.

The tentacles are getting in deep and the squeezing has begun. The good news is that more people wake up everyday. Some never will and some have a vested interest in our demise.

I have NO problem assigning 'blame' where it fits to uncivilized barbarians. BUT what has been a foot and bubbling up from within US stems back to the enlighten intellectuals that have sought to reenact the 'French' Revolution. AND these of the enlightened minds do not much care HOW they get to where they are going. They cannot get to where they intend to take US until they destroy the middle class... AND they will use the four pillars of any civilized society, 'politics', 'economy', 'education', and last but certainly NOT least 'religion' to set their 'new' order in place.

See of the modern era our founders established a government that was the people, with the intent that only the Creator could give or take specific unalienable rights... Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Liberals whether they be slightly pink all the way to blood red see themselves as the giver and taker of 'rights'.

Well this nation is under a LIBERAL assault by more than just a 'muslim' invasion.

Was that sarcasm... LOL

LBJ began the 'war on poverty' and we have more poor people literally and symbolically than we did before he began his war....

GHWB .... That 'no new taxes' president got himself cornered by the red liberals into a tax increase and help assist the Clintons into depleting our military by spending the 'peace dividends' after the Soviet communists had no more peoples to expend.

I will never fault GWB on the 'war', but he ended up making the 'big tent' Republicans little more than a leaky TARP!!! as well as placating the commies in Congress by fixing education....

So there was NO sarcasm in what I have lived through.

Here is where the sarcasm was... post 4 I am sure somebody will claim Reagan did this toooo!!!!

Maybe so, but his record speaks for itself. That, the MSM can’t lie about. It’s there and he owns it. Take a good hard look because that will be what we’re stuck with after the voting is over.

Yes and that's why this time we can NOT accept a rino again. This time we need someone EXCEPTIONAL and honest, who walk the walk - we need PROOF. I am really sick to see so many people change their opinion each week..Oh..this one for president..just because this one spoke well for 5 minutes. Obama spoke well (before we discover TOTUS) - Hitler spoke well.

Are we done with voting for whoever SPEAKS WELL instead of VETTING our candidates before we get excited, to know if they will WALK TE WALK - hello Scott Brown - not only talk the talk? I want to know EVERYTHING about this guy before I even think of voting for him.
