I was sitting in my office, checking my email, minding my own business, when I was suddenly assaulted by a most bizarre news item: Senator John Kerry (D-Mass.) had blamed the Tea Party for S&P's downgrade of America's credit rating. No, Kerry didn't blame President Obama, or Congress, whether the current divided Congress or past Democrat or Republican Congresses, or even President Obama's favorite culprit: George W. Bush. He blamed "the Tea Party."
My initial thought was that Kerry's allegation was fortunately so absurd that even the most emotional, robotic liberals would not buy this whopper. But then it happened:
Mere seconds later, I started reading the responses to an article I had just posted on Vice President Joe Biden allegedly calling Tea Party members "terrorists." And there, at the top, was this reader response:
The Tea Party is responsible for our country's credit rating being downgraded because they are unwilling to offer a solution to our current budget problems. They can't offer a plan to cut enough money to balance our budget, and they won't compromise on any tax increases to add revenue. Now we are faced with poor credit that is going to cost taxpayers even more money, making the already terrible situation even worse. They in fact are terrorists. They are doing everything they can to destroy America...

Actually, they need to ask the Obama and the Democratic party why they don't want crossover votes? Why they feel they don't want Republican or Tea Party crossover voters?
American political parties thrive on amassing as many types of voters as possible. Yet the Democratic party seems intent on driving wedges between themselves and anyone who is not purely progressive.
It is a very risky political strategy because it drives away crossover voters.

You are giving Kerry ay too much credit. We all know he is a liar, and that fact doesn’t make him an expert...just scum.
This is like watching primitives cursing and shaking their fists at the storm coming their way. It will have no effect. They know their backwards culture is about to be swept away, and there’s not a thing they can do about it. So they curse.

Almost as laughable as Clinton and his 'vast right wing conspiracy' theory of conservatives putting the stains on Monica's dress - when he knew (KNEW FOR A FACT) that he was the one who put the stains there.

Look at the black bus Obama's using - it looks like something machine guns would be mounted on... Then his wacky comments about AlQaeda being weakened but his concern about a 'lone wolf'. That 'lone wolf' stuff is a hang over from the Clinton 'vast right wing conspiracy' stuff. We all laughed at Clinton and his black helicopter insanity - but it looks like Obama's brought it back.
It wold be the same as if some Republican took the man who climbed a Texas tower decades ago and shot at students - as an excuse to spy on liberal citizens.
The MSM would know that was wrong. But they'll miss this - conservatives are their 'enemy' too.
Dems going paranoid - they don't want our votes because they're becoming totalitarians. Chew on that for a second or two...
