I wouldn't love it if you were saying there some of the stuff you and your comrades have been saying here... like the Texas Democrats of the '80s were the Conservative party. That not only doesn't pass the smell test, but that causes some of us political historians to bust a gut with derisive laughter. Now if you were talking about the 1880s maybe. But I don't think Slick Rick was serving during the Sul Ross administration. I'm sure, however, by next week he'll be mentioning he did.
