here is what the “article” stated
quote “WAIT AS LONG AS POSSIBLE TO ENTER THE RACE SO THAT SHE IS NOT ATTACKED AS THE FRONTRUNNER OUT OF THE GATE”
THAT, is what I was responding to.
It’s that simple, don’t try to read anything else into it.
“Dont read any more into it.”
Yeah, right.
Hey,Karl... is that you?
NOPE. Obama was barely on the radar, then when kennedy endorsed it was a firestorm against Hilary and then obama was put into the media affirmative action program.
lol
I give up!
Your right! Palin is perfect! And I hope she waits till the day before the first votes are cast in February to enter!

I suspect Sarah has Sun Tsu tattooed on her brain.
You sound like a Lefty, catagorizing and criticizing folk out of hand.
"If she waits until November 1st 2012 to get in, and thinks she'll get my vote without earning it..."
While INFORMED ADULTS know that 'as long as possible' couldn't possibly mean two weeks before New Hampshire or November 1st 2012, we all understand your vantage point now. Thanks for clarifying.
I don’t see where that is in any way true. Sarah was quite clear that perry blindsided her with his candidacy saying he had stated adamantly for 4 months that he was not running. She said she was disappointed that he had not kept his word, but she was glad he was in the race and it would make no difference in her personal decision.
rick perry is too quick on the trigger and he is going to burn himself out.
Nobody has seemed to notice that perry is trying to copy her style, but he comes off as arrogant and belligerant, the exact opposite of Palin.
good summation, I believe she, Palin, is strong enough to run as independent and win in today’s climate. Jackson Delano Maybolt
Exactly right.....also Looks like Christy, Ryan, Trump, Bolton, and more are simply waiting for their moment...either to step up or say they are not.
Since Reagan apparently didn't step up til 'November'...there is STILL plenty of time for all to determine their hour.
“According to Sarah, Rick Perry told her he was not going to run. If there ever was an “understanding” between them, I would think the fact that Rick broke his word would nullify the whole deal.”
Two more things about this Perry run most voters nationwide are not really aware of
1. The whole time Rick Perry was running for Governor, throughout the primary and general elections, he was strongly denying that he would run for president in 2012.
2. Rick Perry is running for president from the safety of his present office. He has not resigned to make this run, he gives up nothing to make this run. He remains governor through 2014 if he does not win. (not that this relatively recent political development seems to bother the press, or voters anymore)
re: ‘as long as possible to me means - waiting until after all the debates are over and people are about to actually start voting in the primaries. That is unacceptable to me.’
To Sarah ‘as long as possible’ means:
Palin has said several times that practically and logistically she would need to announce her decision in Aug or Sept. Evan last winter she said it would probably be late summer. She also said she realized it wouldnt be fair to her supporters to wait any longer.
There are statutory deadlines and requirements for getting on the primary ballots that would preclude the scenario you claim to fear.

Then I am in 100% in agreement with Palin then.
Aren’t you a member of the David Frum ‘Sissyfits About Palin’ wing of the Republican party?
Huh?
I am always amazed by some of the outlandish comments posted here that are supposed to pass as facts.
Rick Perry is the one who said he was not running, then changed his mind!
Governor Palin has never said that she would base her decision on whether Governor Perry ran or not! In fact, quite the polar opposite. She told Sean Hannity in Iowa on Hannity's National TV program, that she welcomed Perry into the race, but that his entry would have nothing to do with her decision.
I will also add, that in *Going Rogue*, she made it clear that she will never accept another VP spot.
“also Looks like Christy, Ryan, Trump, Bolton, and more are simply waiting for their moment...either to step up or say they are not.”
Trump? He was in, then out, now maybe back in... perhaps Huckabee and Daniels will jump back in too.
Interesting. So Rick Perry is a habitual lier.
Sarah wasn’t any such thing. She took a swipe at his entering the race after months of adament denials. If anything, she baited him into the race by offering unsolicited praise for a possible Perry candidacy back in June. She was hardly ‘blindsided’.
Puh-leeze!
We don't have debates, we have joint press conferences.
The only debating that is done is between a candidate and the commie moderator.
