For the second time in a week, a flash mob robbed a convenience store in our area. Could it be a new trend in the Washington region?
In the latest incident, 10 women stormed the Shop Express convenience store along Benning Road in northeast Washington at about 3:15 a.m. Thursday.
They loaded up on food, drinks and snacks at different parts of the store.
Some of the women were carrying bags to hold some of the items. Then they all rushed out of the store at the same time without paying.
Employees said that each of the women stole about $60 worth of merchandise.

$60 from a convenience store is about 2 cokes and a bag of chips.
Between high unemployment and high grocery prices, expect more of this only it’ll be middle class parents needing to feed their families.
Too bad discriminatory pricing is out of vogue. Now everyone else gets to pay!

How does this re-distribution of wealth differ from any other form of stealing? Mr. Obama should try to explain the difference.

From what I can see, this mob share another attribute beyond being female. Holder/Obama would explain the behavior as overdue reparations.
I know it would be ugly, but I wonder how quickly this would
stop if shop owners were allowed to exercise their 2nd amendment
rights and drop a few perps in their tracks....and not be prosecuted for it,

Hmmmmm, 10 women, $60 each, $600.
And how much would it be to replace a door that was shattered because it was locked? Or to pay for a damaged clerk because the 10 women turned on him or her? Or, how much will the lawsuit be settle for when one of the flash robbers is injured in the panic to open the locked doors?
Yeah. Thank goodness they didn't pay with their well endowed EBT cards. This way they only indirectly steal from us instead of directly through wealth transfer. I'm sure some full fingernail job, hair extensioned darling will be fraudulently converting that EBT toward something more interesting now that they don't have to buy their chips on the card.

All business in the black neighborhoods need to close and let them drift into the more ‘tony’ neighborhoods of DC where the wealthy political class hang out.
The panic system I helped install in a small grocery years ago was amusing. The windows and doors, barred of course, locked. The catch on the shotgun under the counter released. The best part was the door to the yard where the two trained attack dogs lived was quietly opened and a high pitched signal was broadcast to the dogs.
What is notable is how few of the perps are white. Blacks are sowing the wind and they will eventually reap the whirlwind.
In Texas, if you attempt to commit robbery during the hours of darkness, deadly force can be used to prevent the crime. I would not have believed it myself except that I was on a jury where that exact thing occurred.
