Why don’t the states have the balls to tell the EPA that they will not recognize regulation of enterprises within the state. Tell them to FOAD and then dare them to do something about it.

I really believe Obama wants to lose the election.

It's absolutely mind-boggling.

I'd like to think that no president, even a democrat could truly be this stupid. I mean, hell, even if I disagreed with him at least Bill Clinton knew what he was doing!

Obama, with each passing day, shows himself to be totally out of touch with the American people --even his base. He's so bad he's got Maxine Waters making comments that I agree with!!!

This guy is going to ruin his party, setting Republicans up to come in and fix everything and poisoning the Democrat brand for a generation.

This, of course, would be a good thing.

We knew what to expect from Obama before he was elected. Nothing he does surprises me. Nothing.

Obama is doing everything he can to destroy the United States economically. Obama is playing the radical liberal/communist black racist card but he is a radical Muslim terrorist.

Very true.

This just shows ( re that last bolded part of your statement) that he has taken over from where Osama Bin Laden started with his attempt to destroy the US economy re the WTC bombings.

The irony is that Obama had a hand in having Bin Laden taken out, and he is continuing his legacy.

I guess Obama wants all the glory associated with destroying the greatest Nation of Freedom that the world has ever seen.

He is as evil as they come.

I really believe Obama wants to lose the election.

That assumes there will be an election.

Nuke the EPA. Fire every lo-IQ lard ass, porn surfing, affirmative action parasite who loves to ruin the US economy with idiotic environmental regulations.

“Obama is doing everything he can to destroy the United States economically”

And he seems to completely ignore his poll numbers. I would agree he has lead the Middle East to a quagmire and Jerusalem’s future will be brought to the test. I think he should be thought of as person on a mission, not a politician.

I don't get this. I worked for Bechtel Corporation 39 years ago in Wyoming on the construction of a coal fired power plant that was state of the art back then and I'm sure all of the plants are up to those standards today. With the giant percipitators and electrified stacks the emissions are just steam. No different than natural steam emissions. What are these nuts doing?

This is one that can’t be hung on the current president’s coattails. It stems from the inability of past Congresses, (and Presidents) to agree upon, establish, (and stick to), long-term energy development and air-quality improvement programs.

The american public - and environment - continues to be held captive of the election cycle. We need to change that. >PS

You notice they are not spreading this during mid-January. They want the TVA to shut down a few of their plants so in response they are going to fire-up a moth-balled Nuc plant. The cave-folks are screaming.

The lay of this land is made up of God. The government of this land is made up of those upon which we allow.

The GOP in WV is corrupt beyond belief. Had it not been for Raese’s OWN money, no one outside of WV would have even heard about the GOP candidate for the Senate. In the previous Senate race (against Rockefeller) the GOP managed a whole $10,000 for the campaign. Although we did gain a Congressional seat this past election, the GOP did not win a single state-wide race. The GOP even ran a life-long RAT against Rahall....and lost there too.

For a hint about just how corrupt the WV GOP is, look at the way the 2008 Presidential primary was taken away from the rank-and-file Republicans.

http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/08037/855056-176.stm

Don't you find it odd that the GOP in a state that has been voting for Republican Presidential candidates, by increasing margins for three cycles, is so moribund within those same state borders?

PS...Manchin has been doing MORE to fight the Obama EPA than a wholebunchalotta GOP Senators. Just Google “Manchin EPA” for some insight.

Do the math, kids. The industry says the new rules will close one fifth of all coal plants. Coal plants provide 45% of our generation capacity. That means that about 8 or 9 percent of all electrical generation facilities in the US will be closed by these rule changes. Now, perhaps they can be upgraded to reopen, but imagine any industry that is told they have to repair or replace almost one tenth of all its equipment ... especially the most expensive equipment.

You have to believe that mr. 0bama is either completely stupid, or he is being deluded by those who wish to destroy America, or he himself is actively trying to destroy America.

Couple this with the news that was posted here yesterday about Exxon losing 2 of 5 drilling permits because of a contract error. Looks like a pattern.
