In reality of politics, is just an assumption of end, though really is beginning of something else.
Neither sides has won, or it will win, for this is political arena of who gets last lough.
Obama thinks these rebellions against government are a great way to get rid of an oppressive, tyrannical ruler who enriches himself and his friends and doesn’t listen to the people.

I’ll give him credit, along with an impeachment for a grossly unconstitutional abuse of his position in getting us into the war in the first place.
While many of you debate yourself on so many levels, I think we need to look at boarder prospective of what is really going on.
There should be serious questions asked for all candidates who are seeking to accomplish ultimate goal.
1 Are you better off now then you were 4 years ago? Or 8 years ago?
2 How will you cut unprecedented imploding deficit that is ruin this country?
3 Will you be strong enough to cut spending and wasting U.S Tax payer dollars an moronic studies of woman clothing or if ants can eat etc… nonsense.
4 Will you achieve a goal of being able to invest in crumbling of US infrastructure as well in dismantling absolute brain washing of teen agers as well adults by mass media and colleges, going all the way down to kindergarten?
5 Will you be strong enough to finally cut bases abroad, thus cutting unnecessary expenditure we don’t need and provide high tech for our military at home?
6 Will you be strong enough to disable many of agencies’ which purposes are useless, unless it really helps American people to grow and not be intimidated or divulge of their goals?
7 Will you be able to combat 14 Amendment and finally put on end to law loopholes being pushed on innocent people?
8 Will you once and for all put on end that this is English speaking country and official language should be as is English! (When in home or with relatives, whatever you speak is their business, but not in courts, or governmental institutions.)
9 Will you finally concur and fight for rights of true marriages, where woman and man can be at peace, not attacked and being demonetize?
10 Will you fight a fact that more man are being masculine by idiotic feminists, who are pushing laws into their favor, to destroy fabric of family.
11 Will you be sincere enough to admit to American people, that their country is bankrupt, lives under fascism state of banks who rub them in real day light by TARP?
12 What is your plan to rebuild this country in real colors, not on paper fantasy of Mass Media, who’s IQ is too embarrassing to compare of true knowledge of thought and wisdom.

But instead of going in quickly and decisively and ending the regime, Zero started it but did not follow it up, leading to months and months of bloodshed and unreported number of casualties.

I’d have to agree with you. So far, only more radical, anti-Western “governments” have replaced the totalitarians that have been more agreeable to the West. Libya and Syria will be no exception, as long as Islam rules these nations.
I wouldn’t be surprised. The rebels in Libya have not ever been in a strategic position to pull this off themselves.
