In an embarrassing defeat for the Obama administration, a federal court ruled on Wednesday that Secret Service White House visitor logs are agency records that are subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act! U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell issued the decision in Judicial Watch v. Secret Service, (No. 09-2312).
Here’s the bottom line: The Obama administration will now have to release all records of all visitors to the White House – or explain why White House visits should be kept secret under law.

WASHINGTON — The Bush administration asked an appeals court Wednesday to overrule a federal judge and allow the White House to keep secret any records of visitors to Vice President Dick Cheney's residence and office.
The lengths our "elected representatives" will go to keep their dirty-dealings secret....

The Clinton Administration promised it was going to be the “most ethical Administration in History” . We now know how that went.
The Obama Administration promised right from the start to be “the most transparent in history” from a President who has tried more than any else to keep his past a secret and prevent any disclosures on his activities. Even the most basic requests for public information are stonewalled and even subpoenas are ignored.
