TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — A Republican Arizona state senator says he has formed an exploratory committee to examine a possible run next year for the congressional seat held by Democrat Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.

Sen. Frank Antenori, of Tucson, made extensive public comments last week about the committee but made his formal announcement Monday before a Republican women's group in Tucson.

If someone decides to run against her he/she should make the campaign about OBAMA, especially if the economy is still in bad shape next fall. Don’t even mention her name or anything about her, especially her injury.

No prob! He is former military, pro gun, pro constitution, love America, common sense, get out and talk to the people kind of guy. He is likeable and tells it like it is. He doesn’t beat around the bush and if there is something that can’t get done, he will tell you why.

I forgot to mention that he won his last election by a large margin as well.

Look, we all know that if she runs, she wins. It does not matter if she even shows up in the district to campaign. The sympathy vote will be there like the DNC operative "Matthew Fuller" posting on this thread. Hell, she could even run her dog as a stand-in and the bleeding hearts would have good things to say about bow-wows.

Not only that but if the republican even mentions the fact that she is non-compos-mentus, he will immediately be labeled a terrorist by the state-run media and arrested by the FBI as complicit in her shooting.
