I extend an invitation to all Sarah Palin fans living in perpetual anticipation - in constant angst - to get behind Rick Perry.

Rick Perry will be top of the GOP ticket and he will (with great joy and fun for him and for us) clean Obama clock and pack state houses and the Congress with large GOP majorities.

It's a very good feeling and you are welcome and encouraged to come on board.

A huge weight was lifted when I stepped away and reassessed my devotion to Sarah. I admire her spunk but now it's Reality Heights time -- sanity test time.

This isn't about her, this is about conservative ascendancy and getting that guy who is destroying our lives, the country and the world shown the exit.

We, with Rick Perry, will be doing that in 2012. It's great getting behind the guy who is already taking it to Obama and driving the Left insane with his surging poll numbers and fast-track candidacy.

Come on over and join in the fun.

You’re very rude. Please do not use Sarah Palin informations thread to post about YOUR candidate!

I don’t care much for Perry, but this is pure leftist hogwash.

This was at the Tea Party Express rally in Reno, NV last week (Go Sharron Angle!). The lady in the cowboy hat with the sweet smile is my wife Sheila. And that’s Syncro’s left eyeball in the upper left as he focuses his video camera.

Sarah was introduced to me by Sal Russo (leader of the Tea Party Express) who introduced me as Jim Robinson from freerepublic.com. She said thank you for all you guys have done, then leaned forward and gave me a little cheek to cheek hug. I took it as she loves the FReepers and pass it on to all of you!!

Woo hoo!! FR is Palin Country!!

Yep. Need to work on getting someone that we can actually elect. A politician - someone that can work both sides of the aisle. While the “Mr. Smith goes to Washington” is a nice idea, we need a more conventional politician.

Perry may be an okay candidate - I really don’t know that much about him. Other than it seems he’s the same as usual. The same as usual is what has gotten us into this mess.

I’M TIRED OF THE SAME AS USUAL.

The typical, “electible” politician.

It is time for a revolution in America. And if we don’t have a revolution in the sense of electing someone that will really shake things up - I fear that the next revolution won’t be about elections.

Although generous, your offer is one I will happily decline. If it comes down to Perry vs. Obama, we’ll see.

In the meantime, Perry does not share my views on open borders, Parental rights via this handling of the Guardasil debacle; and after many years of my studying and writing about Al Gore and his ‘environmental’ issues, I firmly believe any man stupid enough to not only support, but actively campaign for him after he had ALREADY been pushing his eco garbage for years, is not a leopard I expect to change his spots. Hide them perhaps, but not change them.

As for waiting for Palin, good things come to those who wait and she is a far superior candidate to yours in every definable metric. I personally think now is too soon for her to announce and I am content to wait until the deadline for filing passes before even considering another candidate. I am not a fairweather friend. Fortunately, I do not believe that will be a concern.

But take heart. If after all the other candidates (except Romney who can go straight to hell) fall by the wayside and we are left with Perry vs. Obama, I’ll have a good conversation with my conscience on whether another RINO putting off the inevitible collapse is preferable to getting it over with immeadiately. Come to think of it, Might not want to count me in at all. But time will tell.

Perry has an impressive record at the state level. However, where has he been since the last Presidential Election in the fight against the Coup in Washington being led by CZAR B.O.?

No thanks. Perry is a crony capitalist, bought and paid for RINO. Take Jim’s advice and stop trolling/sh*t stirring on Palin threads. Many Palin supporters may however feel inclined to welcome a return of your support when Perry’s already lacklustre campaign inevitably fails. He’s a dud - get over it.

"Rick Perry will be top of the GOP ticket... Come on over and join in the fun."

Thank you... but no thanks. Candidate Rick Perry promised if he won re-election as Governor, that he would not run for president.

Then, in a move calculated to advance his personal political gain, he broke that promise.

Sarah Palin, on the other hand, took an oath to do only that which she felt was in the very best interest of her constituents and her State without regard for whether it might advance or destroy her personal political gain.

Sarah Palin kept that promise, despite the fact that leaving the Governorship might have spelled her personal political suicide. She honestly believed that it was best decision for her State and her Country. And as is turns out, she was absolutely right. Again

Sarah gets my vote. I can wait a couple more weeks to get a President who keeps her promises to the voters she thinks of before she thinks of herself.

Your offer doesn't sound like so much "fun" after all. And, after all, what is "fun" shouldn't play an adult role in such a momentous decision. "Honesty" trumps "fun."

No thank you.

If Palin decides to stay out, I may give Perry another look, but right now he’s in third place behind Cain in my copy book. The only reason he’s not in Fourth is I am pretty sure Col. West is not going to jump in.

Perry’s got a slight need over Bachmann who I think would make a marvelous cabinet pick, but I just do not feel confident about as POTUS. (Sorry, the migraine thing does count. I’m subject to migraines myself so I know how debilitating they can be — and medication is not always effective.)

The ONLY thing that Perry has going for him that makes me smile at this stage is the fact that the trial lawyers hate him.

As for the rest...

*shrug*

Go back to Perry and tell him Molan Labe. See you on the battlefield of the primaries. You do not think we are just going to hand a Victory to you... do you? With your every post... and few have been as congenial as this one... the likelihood of my voting for Perry diminishes exponentially.

I extend an invitation to all Sarah Palin fans living in perpetual anticipation - in constant angst - to get behind Rick Perry.

No one loves Sarah more than me but I don't wake up in the morning nor go to bed at night wondering if Sarah will announce today, tonight or tomorrow.

I want her to announce and am content to wait for her time frame.

You have made it all about you, what you want, when you want it and the fact that you couldn't control your desires, you decided to settle for second best.

If Sarah decides not to run, I'll be forced to settle for my second choice, but why should I jump before she decides to announce?

You got no patience and not enough guts to hang in waiting for the best.

If I have to support Perry, I'm sure you, and all the rest of the early abandon-Sarah clan will welcome us with open arms.
