Thank You, I did the same. Pretty close. Neat how CO is almost directly west from VA?!? I did not know about the others!

“If we draw a line from VA epicenter to CO epicenter how close to the center of the line is New Madrid?”

I looked up each city’s approximate latitude...

Cokedale, CO. 37.144
Mineral, VA. 37.48
New Madrid, MO 36.59
Honshu, Japan 37.67
Fukushima 37.57
San Francisco 37.46

The Rape of Nanking ‘37 (and near the 32nd coordinate, 1 out of 2 ain’t bad) .)

Purely coincidence, I’m sure. *-o

Yep -- one of my left-leaning friends has already suggested fracking as the cause of this earthquake ... in all seriousness.

By the end of this week EPA will release some vague generalized statement using the words fracking and earthquakes in the same sentence.

Your buddy will then have his proof that he is right. Liberals are always right in their thinking. Have you every heard one admit they were wrong? It is just one of the symptoms of the liberal disease.

Never let a crises or natural event go to waste.

I just heard the epicenter of the earthquake was traced to a previously unknown geologic formation now known as, “Bush’s Fault”

Indianapolis is sitting on top of a large area of limestone that is situated about 100-150 feet below the surface.

We mine it in various places around town and have underground explosions all the time.

It is hardly felt at all more than 1/2 mile away from blast area.

Is that from when the earthquake of 1811 caused the Mississsippi River to run backwards for several miles and then to change course ???

Yes; I think the camera mounting is slightly off, too.

I tilted the veiw 2.1° counterclockwise and the buildings on the horizon leveled out as well.

That probably would be Goat Granny.

I'll bet she took better care of her goats in the morning.

The wife complained of the high threshold on the old door into the goat area, as well as having to go to the far end of the barn to get into the pasture, so I modified stuff last week; putting access much closer to the house.
