I understand exactly the entire nation must be involved in this recovery but the black community is experiencing a great recession. That's what we're experiencing," Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL) told MSNBC.
"And all of the growth in the past 30 years, we see it slipping away. From home ownership, the middle class; it's slipping away from our hands. And it has a lot to do with many issues. Racism, shipping jobs overseas, access -- no access to technology. You know, the digital divide is there and many of the new jobs that's what it requires. So, we have a problem."

As long as black kids visualize education as being “white”, they will not get those jobs requiring skills and knowledge.
As long as black communities experience looting and riots which destroy businesses, there will not be employers willing to establish businesses and provide jobs in those communities.
She forgot to mention illegal immigrants. But hey, Obama just granted amnesty to God knows how many. How is amnesty going to help blacks in the job market?
That would be the liberal racism that works to ensure the Democrat base is hard to employ - government educated by union run non-schools, and handicapped by excessive government protections (e.g. minimum wages, setasides, HR policies, etc.)
When are people going to associate the black unemployment rate with their horrendous H.S. graudation rates. It goes hand in hand. Don’t cry me a river over this!
