About 1.4 * 1034 carats, based on the statement in the article about how many solar masses the object is. Since it's a mixture of carbon and oxygen of unstated ratio, I wouldn't be able to calculate how many carats of that could be diamond. But it would be humongous by any measure. Suppose a planet of solid gold were to be found. Think there would be an expedition to try to lasso it and bring it back to earth?

The value of a diamond is mostly tied to scarcity. If it’s not scarce anymore, the value plummets.
