“Mexican commandos have discreetly traveled to the United States, assembled at designated areasand dispatched helicopter missions back across the border aimed at suspected drug traffickers,” reports the New York Times. This is all part of what the Obama Administration is calling “boomerang operations” which are designed to get at Mexican drug traffickers through the back door. ”The cartels don’t expect Mexican police coming from the U.S.,” one senior military official told the Times. Clearly things are not going well in Mexico.

The whole mess just makes me think about Aesop’s fable— The Greedy Dog. That’s all those politicians are... they are greedy dogs. They will drop the bone they have to bark and try to collect another bone, from the dog that’s only a reflection.

That's a pretty good metaphor for RINOs trying to trade favors for Hispanic votes. But there are some polls suggesting that such pandering doesn't work for Obama either. His approval among US Hispanics was 49%. Then he issued his "amnesty by fiat" and it went down to 44% according to 2 Gallup polls.

So, the “accidents” of them being on U.S. soil were planned.

Do you think that there's any stomach at all for a U.S. military invasion of Mexico?

The irony.

What is more ironic is Mexico’s immigration laws that offer severe penalties if you cross their border illegally. Like throwing you in a hell hole prison for a year or two or three or four awaiting the authorities deciding whether to bring you to trial or just let you rot.

I say close the border completely for six months to a year with a full blown military presence letting nothing crossing over until Mexico’s government gets it act together. Then we’ll talk...
