CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham says the recent debate over the nation's debt ceiling shows he's in line with the tea party.

The Post and Courier of Charleston reported Graham met with the Charleston Tea Party on Monday in a rather relaxed meeting. A year ago, the meeting was so tense with tea partiers questioning his positions that the senator asked the media to leave.

Yep. The Tea Party is unified behind Graham. We are unified to push him out of office and out of the closet!

Good. Lets’s keep Lindsay looking over his shoulder so he votes the right way. Then we’ll throw his ass out. Because obviously he’s a scheister who loves power so much he’ll twist with the winds. And is therefore untrustworthy. I’d rather see someone new in that seat with every term than see him re-elected.

The only thing this RINO moron is worried about is re-election. Same old song and dance. Go Tea Party for election then dump them once back in office.

They need to get rid of this RINO no matter what he says.

You CANNOT..in 2012...run ANY political campaign that is ambiguous about your immigration “position” in the current job market.

Unemployed Americans are looking for assurances of their governments’ concern about THEIR plight...not that of businesses forced into looking for disposable labor because of onerous tax and regulatory policy.

Illegal Labor is the Feds out for preserving the status quo regarding Taxes and Regulation...and is the ultimate litmus test as to the candidates in question commitment to meaningful regulatory and tax reform. If they are wishy-washy on the subject...they have no real intent to disturb the DC status quo...no matter how big their cowboy hat and six-gun.

Graham=RINO=demrat. Seems to be the day for RINOs to proclaim Tea Partiers support them. First we heard from Perry (via a poll) and now Graham. Is there somthing in the air they breath? Maybe it’s hurricame Irene.

SC elects its senators seemingly forever...Thurmond was what 50+ years...Fritz Hollings was the world's oldest "junior senator"...

The SC congressional delegation is all Pubby. (and the new seat will be GOP controlled also)...except for Clyburn's district..

Haley's set for gov for 2 terms...unless, if we don't win the WH next year..she's in the top tier for 2016..DeMint's said this is his last term..I don't believe it..I think it's more likely that he becomes majority leader...

Scott, I believe, limited himself to 4 terms...so I think he just might decide to take Lindsay on...

I think polls would show Tim winning easily.

Haley's gonna have a big influence, when she endorses a candidate, and will thus have the ear of the next president...so it's possible that Graham could be moved out..there are several posts where he'd be OK..

I think we can suspect two or three challengers to Graham. Some will get in just to set them selves up for 2016 when (as he’s indicated) DeMint will retire.

IMO, Graham will do about as well in his primary as Inglis did in his.

Haley has far more influence outside the state than in. SCians don’t like anti-establishment people.

Lindsey is in La La land.
He shows his RINO face at a Tea Party and they will boo him off the stage.
And ritghtfully so.

I so wish people would stop voting these guys in year after year. We’d be so much better off without Graham, McCain, Lugar, etc. Orrin Hatch could also go, but I’d give him a specific task if we have any control next year. He led his committee to do an indepth study of the meaning of the 2nd Amendment (original intent). It was published & is available on Amazon. He should be asked to do the same for the Commerce Clause, & then that should be voted on as a ‘sense of the senate’ or even an Amendment to the consitution so that federal judges (& the Supremes) can only interpret it based on original intent.

I know... I’m dreaming.
