President Barack Obama urged Americans on Saturday to recall the spirit that united the country after the Sept. 11 attacks and take part in a national day of service to mark the anniversary next month.
In remarks acknowledging the "great challenges" that confront the US economy, and could hurt his reelection chances next year, Obama also sought to rise above the partisan political rancor that has divided Washington all summer.

And, FURTHERMORE, I thought it would be a National Day of Remembrance....NOT SERVICE....these commies are making me sick. I am not looking forward to 9/11 anniversary...luckily I get to go to a friends college graduation that day!

What a typically biased article from Reuters. Obama’s been trying to boost hiring, but the nasty GOP have been holding him back. If only he could get his “job-creating measures” passed.
And I never cease to find his proclamation of 9/11 as a national day of service to be offensive. If only Americans were more charitable, more giving, more selflessly serving to and for the state, then maybe they wouldn’t provoke such attacks! He might as well just call it a national day of penance.

In service to my country on 9/11, I would volunteer to join a couple of all volunteer squadrons and do unto obama’s people as they did unto us. The kabah would be a smoldering hole in the ground surrounded by glowing green glass.
This is exactly the same holy shite that he has done to commemorate 11 September since he was elected.
They only understand force! Anything else is looked upon as a weakness.

Just an observation and an off comment to the fine folks on FR.
For some time, he no longer sports blue/purple lips. Certainly that is due to makeup. Blue/purple lips is an indication of one of several bad diseases.
But he does continue to use that bluish eye shadow makeup above his upper eyelids for some reason other than he thinks he looks pretty smashing.
