The IDF has rescued an Arab woman and her baby daughter after they received medical care in Israel and then were caught in a Hamas mortar shell attack on the Erez Crossing to northern Gaza.
The commander of the Erez crossing and another security officer brought the woman and baby to a protected shelter at the crossing where they were given a meal for the end of the daily fast during the Muslim month of Ramadan.
Two other Arab women and another baby, who had received Israel's medical care, managed to cross into Gaza before the explosions at the crossing, cutting the electricity and disabling entrance gates.
The squad of terrorists that fired a mortar shell hitting the Erez Crossing was targeted shortly afterwards by an IAF aircraft, in the northern Gaza Strip.
The attack on the Erez Crossing, used for the movement of Arabs who mostly seek medical care and foreign staff members of international organizations in and out of Gaza, was the second one on the transfer point during the week.
The IDF also coordinated 150 truckloads of goods and food at Erez during the past week. Israel has cared for thousands of Gaza Arabs despite the ongoing rocket and mortar shell attacks on southern Israel.

Why?
The ministering angels asked the same question when Hagar and the young, wayward Ishmael were wandering in the dessert, and Ishmael was burning with fever and had no water. The angels opposed giving them water, because of all the wicked things that his descendants would do. G-d, however, provided the water, because he judged Ishmael by his actions at that time, which were sufficiently righteous that he didn’t deserve death. The child is a child. As she is right now, she deserves medical care and shelter from the mortar fire.
It is one of the Judeo Christian's greatest strengths. And greatest weaknesses.
And to show her thanks to the IDF that rescued her, the Palestinian mother will teach the child to be a good suicide bomber . . . to please the Muslim death cult and create another “martyr” to kill the evil Jews. With luck, she will rig herself to blow up the hospital that treated her and the child. Palestinians are rabid animals and need to be put down.
You are no doubt correct. Hearts and minds work only works with people who actually have them. That is why I said it is one of our greatest weaknesses.
To show her gratitude four years later, this same woman tried to blowup the same hospital with a bomb vest. When she saw the security people wouldn't allow her in, she detonated the vest, killing herself and wounding four security personnel.
Showing mercy and kindness by Israelis to the Palestinians is a wasted effort. The IAF needs to rain cluster bombs on Gaza and the IDF can use it for target practice with MLRS rockets with cluster warheads. Wipe the Palestinians out.
Maybe I should check with Hillary if this is the State Dept's latest stance? Nah..... why bother.
If my eye stops tearing soon maybe I'll see better.
I remember that report well. My wife was in Tel Aviv at the time, so it was all over the news.
It was totally sickening, and I’d like to see these imams that call for suicide bombers to stand up and take the lead. If they had the guts to blow themselves up as an example to the dumb youth they brainwash, there would be less of this cr*p.
But still, what would you do? I, in all honestly, would do what the IDF members did. My son died protecting women and children from an IED in Helmand. If he had not left his vehicle to warn passers by to get out of the area, he would probably still be alive.
Pity and mercy is part of our culture. It is a weakness, yes, but also our greatest strength and one I would hate to see us lose, even though our enemies consider gratitude to an enemy to be a sin in their terms.
It boils down to this: you can't be decent only when it's reciprocated or convenient, otherwise the indecent have changed you.
In my heart, I know good wins in the end so I can't look at it as a weakness.
I resent that. It’s absolutely untrue. We use innocent Palestinian chickens to make soup, I’ll have you know. Mothers and babies, we abduct and make sex slaves, and then sell their body parts. Whatever’s left goes into the Purim pastries.
You don’t save a snake in your home. You kill it.
The road to Hell is paved with good intensions.
This remark calls for my famous
“Why?”
Because it’s the right thing to do.
Children once upon a time were Hitler, Mao, Pol-Pot, Stalin, Bin-Laden, Mohammed... etc. Most of us would have preferred these monsters died while they were still of an innocent age.
Though, I understand your point.
Thanks Eleutheria5.
What it comes down to for me is this. When I look at my grandbabies and think of the future they will have with the spread of Islaminsanitalization it is an easy decision for me. Wipe them out down to the last tit-sucking babe. And if you think that is just idle talk, wellll...we won’t test that here.
A friend of mine just got back from F ghanistan. He saw the truth. He told me they will destroy us. Maybe. Maybe not. Fight to win. Just like my old friend and Classical Lit. prof back in college told me about his experiences fighting the Japanese in WWII. He said “We fought to win. We did what we had to do”. And you could see the haunt in his eyes. They HAD TO set their morality and good intentions aside. Was he a monster? YES. YES HE WAS. For a time. But I got to be in his classes and experience his love for the classic writers and poets. Something that WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE WITHOUT HIS SACRIFICES.
PS: My friend brought me a treasure from F ghanistan. One of the American Flags that flew over his FOB. ``
Okay. Back to the comedy.
Why did the Pali cross the road?
Chicken by day.
Chickenshit by night.
Because we were chosen by G-d to serve the people of the world and, one day, perhaps in the world to come, will be rewarded for obeying Him.
It’s a hard pill to swallow. My natural inclination is to push them into Eqypt or Syria by force.
