Since taking office, name one thing Obama has done that has calmed the frazzled nerves of the Arabs in the Middle East and helped the Israelis to secure their position as the lone democracy in that region?

I cannot think of one, though I have tried. I think that’s because he knows he’s an Arab and he simply hates Israel.

The ignorant Americans that follow the NYTimes and the MSM have watched the Arab Spring and they think that they are seeing democracy in motion. They do not live in reality, anymore. They live in the utopian myth of all things Obama and believe every one of his lies.

They cannot fathom that this will not end well. And when it doesn’t, they would never even consider to implicate the One in any of this. They fall back and say, “Well, he TRIED HARD. It isn’t his fault that people died needlessly in Cairo and Tripoli with America’s help. We’re ALWAYS the good guys.”

Unless of course it’s Bush’s Shock and Awe in Iraq or the war in Vietnam. Then we’re the devil. War is only good when Obama is Commander in Chief.

It’s like we’re living in an alternate universe that the socialists have finally succeeded in making. I want to leave this universe and hide somewhere where it is safe, but I wouldn’t know where to run to.

Well said. We are likely NOT seeing democratic revolutions. The odds are that Islamic fundamentalists will either take over or have a strong say in the new governments in these countries.

The liberal fantasy that these dictators are being overthrown, and will be replaced by some parliamentary democracy, are just fantasies. The reality will be ugly.

True, which is why it'll be interesting to see how this plays out. The Muslim Brotherhood, and their apologists in the West (including the Obama Administration) has put a lot of effort into portraying themselves as small "d" democratic-minded moderates.

They decide to take substantive action against the Sphinx and the Pyramids (they can't knock THOSE down, obviously) and there's going to be a response in the West that'll make the whole "Who lost China?" thing in the late 1940s look like petty bickering.
