My power and cable/internet stayed on(Maryland) :) , but many neighborhoods few miles from me are still without power, including the stores.

On NBC MTP David Gregory lined up the coastal state governors and asked each to give a short description of how things went. So first you have Christie then ‘ tax em again and again Martin O’ Mally (Maryland)‘ in that order and old Martin says “Obama did a really great job straighting up FEMA. Everything went great with him as president ”. He is definitely looking for a federal office after raising all those taxes and then getting easily Re-elected as governor and he now is turning up on the Sunday shows. I hate him.

O Malley is following California and announced a study to estimate how much state sales tax revenue the state is losing due to internet/out of state sales. It is not hard to guess the purpose of these state studies, to get the Federal government to force states to collect taxes from other states residents. Naturally he raised the state sales tax but dead-beats like me are avoiding it as much as we can.

It has gotten to the point where if the Obama administration says anything, I believe the opposite. They've never been right about anything. If they say it's going to rain, then expect a drought.

The hurricane just didn't cooperate. He needed something big to take the attention off from himself and let him play the big hero as if what he would have done wouldn't have been all planned out before he became Pres. It was Bush who beefed up our ability to respond to emergencies. Of course Obama wouldn't have breathed a word about that.

BTW ... did you watch Bush's 9/11 interview last night? One thing that sticks out like a sore thumb on that ... not once did Bush ever say "The failure of the past administration to capture Bin Laden led to this attack that I inherited." He has more class in his little finger than Obama has in his entire family history.
