Warning: this article will really piss you off...jackboots taking your stuff. Can they seize your gold or silver? Yep, I say the precedent has been set.

These coins were never monitized therefore they are not legal tender, they are still the property of the US Treasury/US Mint. The same could be said about the 1913 V Nickel, but those were an illegal strike not authorized by the mint.

The Federal Government under FDR confiscated the gold holdings of U.S. citizens during the Great Depression, and got away with it clean. Of course they will do it again whenever it befits their purpose. Bank on it (no pun intended).

Gold, Silver, FOOD, ammo, guns...
there’s no reason they wouldn’t try to take all of these, unless they foresee a SERIOUS backlash.

What Gold?!? All my gold fell off the boat into the river in the same boating accident where I lost all my guns. Yep, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

In all fairness you have to admit the one they, “monetized” and my quotes are purposeful, was not a rational decision to monetize it...it was at best random or publicity stunt. These 10 were obtained the same way the other ones were. Seizing is one thing, seizing without ANY compensation is another. It’s akin to taking your house to put in a highway and not giving you the fair value.

There’s pretty much a consensus that those coins were illegally removed from the US Mint though. So they are technically stolen property. So I would not lump this case in with other government seizures. These coins never did belong to the people who were in possession of them, imo. They remained the property of the US Mint.

I will state this here for future reference... not only can they seize your wealth... if we do not elect a true Conservative warrior and start shunning politicians... THEY WILL EVENTUALLY TAKE EVERYTHING WE HAVE... THEN THEY WILL COME FOR US!
