The results from an experiment... tell(s) researchers that the sun has a significant effect on our planet's temperature Maybe that is why it always seems to get cold at night?

The sun? Really? Who knew? Wonders never cease. What great discoveries must lie just over the horizon.

There are anthropogenic means of seeding cloud cover by vegetation management using animals, the lack of which can have climatic effects on a continental scale. But the greenies are CAUSING that problem, so it will go unstudied and unmentioned.

And if you notice there has been a recent push for Climate Change (formally called Global Warming, name changed to protect the guilty) and push back on us rebel’s who want to see the science!

It would be nice if references to the research talked more about the... research.
Anyway, this isn’t really a “no duh”, this has to do with magnetic fields allowing cosmic rays to seed the formation of clouds. This is CLOUD formation we are talking about. A big big deal when it comes to adjusting the average temperature or a long period of time say over the course of a century. Depending on the activity of the sun and it’s magnetic fields, we may see more or less cloud cover over decades which pretty much sums up ALL of the upward or downward trends.
This is awesome science since it gives us another way to predict temps being over or under median and explains why the earth actually sees temp differences other than the simple seasons every year.
In short, it is NOT mainly from anything happening on or under the earth. Some cataclysmic events like massive volcanoes may alter things for a few years at a time, but it’s the SUN that is driving cloud formation.
Awesome.

According to NASA, the oceans are down a quarter of an inch this year compared to 2010. Blasphemy!
Let's let the University of East Anglia's Ian "Fudge Factor" Harris work on that data until it agrees with the settled scripture, I mean science.

In other news from CERN: still no hint of a Higgs boson at the expected energy. (Heh! heh! heh!)
Okay, in a way it’s irrelevant to the thread, but in another way it’s relevant. String theory, like AGW, seems to be an example of the “madness of crowds” in a scientific context.
