I wonder how long it will take Mr. West to ponder his decision?
I’m not sure West should sacrifice his self and his life for this cause. He should leave.
And let’s give Tim Scott some credit for never joining the CBC. He knew what they were about and stayed away. West is an older man who IMO believed he could bring about positive change, and get the CBC back to addressing concerns of black people rather being a mouthpiece for the Left. But he may be realizing that you can’t fix this level of corruption. It just has to fail on its own.
Our agenda is about lifting people out of poverty, providing middle-class tax cuts, supporting climate-change legislation. -Barbara Lee (D-Calif.)
Congressional Black Caucus whip Rep. Andrè Carson (D-Ind.), said at a town hall that tea-party affiliated members of Congress see African Americans as “second-class citizens” and would be happy to see blacks “hanging from a tree.”
Two liars.
“Content of character” BUMP!
Just out of curiosity, why do they care about "climate change legislation?"
“West would be, in telling the CBC to pound salt, helping his cause considerably in winning back my and many others support. I still think hes a good man, he just needs to get his act together.”
Does it occur to you that perhaps there was method in West’s madness to join the CBC? By leaving he has a forum to point out to the whole country just what a racist bunch the CBC actually is. In government, 99% of Blacks give the other 1% a bad name.
The African America standard in the U.S.that has been lowered so much by Obama, would have a chance to be raised...and this incessant whining by the entitlement crowd would come to an end. West and Cain would give them a swift kick and make them own up to their own responsibility for their own lives. It would do our country a great service to get over this dark period of racial tension and mounting, continual jealousy that the Dems have been creating among them for the past 30 years. I don't recall it being so bad, except during the race riots of the 60's and all the good that had come after seems to be going down the drain. Dem leaders, especially those in the Black Caucus have made their "brothers" unhappy, restless, lazy, and demanding of every special consideration because of something that most could have overcome...the slavery issue.
Instead of helping blacks reach their full potential and be proud participants in building a nation, the black politcians have reduced them to as much dependence as they had on the plantation. It is sickening how they are being used. West and Cain would reverse that tradition of the Democrat party, and by strong leadership and image, West and Cain would demonstrate how one can achieve much greater if one works, instead of whines.
Google “environmental justice”.
It’s about time!
He voted for Pigford/Pigazz Reparations along with them! Kindly undo that and the rest of the lefty voting you have done Mr West.
Allen West should never have joined the Black Congressional Caucus in the first place.
The Black Caucus is hopeless, they are a pack of bigots who merely show their ignorance, day in and day out.
When is Maxines ethics trial?
Are you kidding?
Isn’t it obvious that White people are the second class citizens? After all, it is White people who work for a living, who pay the taxes, and you can get fired from your job for sticking up for other White people.
If blacks are second class citizens, what is Obama and Eric “My People” Holder doing in the White House? In 2008, black people listened to Ludacris and painted the White House “black.”
Now Obamamessiah is here. Black people ride at the front of the bus. I’m positive that White people ride at the back of the bus - if they ride public transportation at all now!
I respect West. Obama not so much
