JOHANNESBURG (AP) -- South Africa's minister of land reform says black farmers have resold nearly 30 percent of the white farmland bought for them by the government - often back to the previous white owners.

Minister Gugile Nkwinti announced the startling indicator of failure at Wednesday's launch of a long-delayed government policy paper to revitalize plans to more equitably distribute agricultural land, redressing historical wrongs.

Makes sense, considering that the average IQ for blacks in Africa is only 70, or two standard deviations below normal. Only about 2% of the population of the United States has an IQ of below 70. Considering that an IQ of 55-70 is considered to be mild mental retardation, as many as half the population of Africa could be mentally retarded.

The days of the family farmer squeaking out an existance off the land are long gone, it doesn’t matter what color you are.

Not so, my wife's uncle and his son farm about 4,000 acres in the Red River Valley in North Dakota. They are smart, make money and are very good at what they do. They farm mostly Corn and Soybeans.

It all depends on what you grow. There are niche markets which are too small for multinational agribusiness, and yet lucrative for individuals, even with 10 acres and a mule.

How many children in the US left family tobacco farms (10 acres and less) and went off to college, all paid for?

Other markets besides tobacco exist, and locally grown produce remains a good way to live reasonably well off 10 acres.

Bingo! We have a winner! They whined so the government stole the farms and gave them the property. Oops, farming takes some effort. Oops, property means taxes have to be paid. Oops, the blacks ended up broke and sold the land back to the owners they stole it from. Vicious circle of a government sponsored scam.

they are selling the Farms back to the same Rhodesian farmers they stole the farms from the in the first place so the country, and the rest of the region, does not starve.

Biches should pay them to take the farms and treat them like gods.
