Iowa Ruckus Exclusive:Palin Will Not Run for President(?)(Perry supporter Ken Crow)
The Iowa Republican ^ | August 30th, 2011 | Jason Geiken

Posted on 08/31/2011 11:38:35 AM PDT by Conservative Firster

As I jumped in my car yesterday and headed home from work, I immediately recognized the raspy, Texas-seasoned voice coming across Newsradio 1040 WHO. It was Ken Crow, founder of Tea Party of America, the organization sponsoring this weekend’s “Restoring America Event,” which will feature former Alaska Governor and 2008 Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin.

I recognized Crow’s voice because, while attending the Polk County GOP Summer Picnic on Saturday afternoon, I had been approached by Crow who was hoping to arrange a meeting with Texas Governor Rick Perry, a presidential candidate and one of the speakers at the event. Now, in the interest of full disclosure, I was at the event as a Perry volunteer, signing people up to receive additional information about the candidate. Crow, apparently not realizing that I was a nobody who has never even met Perry, let alone someone who has any sway whatsoever with his campaign (in fact, I’ve not endorsed any candidate and I was simply there as a favor to a friend), told me he wanted to meet with the Texas Governor and perhaps endorse him in the near future.

“I love Sarah Palin,” Crow told me, “but I know for a fact she ain’t gonna run.”

Not sure why so many Freepers keep getting their panties in a bunch with every She is / She isn’t story. It’s early in the game, and if she jumps in all the better for our side, and if she doesn’t then Perry can sure use her to help him on his run for the White House. Maybe we are so fired up to get this election started, we are in a hurry to rally around someone right now.

Ooo. Disinformation 101. Crow has Perry loyalty, but sets up an event for Sarah. It’s a trap. Sarah figures out the potential for setup, and feeds Crow bad information, which he then dutifully disseminates, exposing his true loyalty. Then there’s the hint of a Rovian element. All this increases the pressure for her to announce, in order to relieve the pressure of intense expectation, yet another attempt to pull her off side, make her act prematurely.

Yes, it’s all surmise, but rather fun. Spy vs Spy. And a good way to audition for President, too.

I don’t think Sarah is going to run. She is having way too much fun yanking the media’s chain.

The field is set, the nominee will be Perry with Mitt and Bachmann running neck and neck for second. Perry will have to chose a running mate from a battleground state like PA, WI, or OH. I would love to see Bachmann supplant Boener as speaker. with republican control of both houses. Then maybe we can undo all of the damage done by the Libtards.

Whatever. I still think the two of them would make a great drill team when it comes to tapping the resources here in America.

Not buying it Bob. Wanting the field to be set isn’t the same thing as the field actually being set. This is the fog of war. Palin will tell us whether she’s in or out, and no one will know anything certain about it until then. Put me down for betting she’s in.

” I’m sick of all these so-called T.E.A. Party leaders and their organizations. “ <<<

Sure, it’s a fiasco but don’t be so hard on an average Joe, who is no pol, trying to put together a huge event, dealing with the various versions of over the top egos, demands and their political posturing. Think if you were him. Maybe he leans Perry, maybe not. Heck, Crow may not even know that it’s all over the net that he is a Perry supporter, if he in fact is. Ordinary people are still not used to their private remarks and preferences going viral.

I feel sorry for O’Donnell. She too is an ordinary Joe who lacks experience and has been pummeled by both sides for bloopers that would be common to anyone of us who weren’t churned out of the “machine”.

Hmmm, a rare moment, to be relished, in that we actually agree on this, at least as a possibility.

For those not bothering to read the article.

For whatever reason Crow believes Palin is not running and was interested in possibly supporting Perry.

Ken Crow had never met Perry. He approached the author of the article in an effort to meet Perry.

There is absolutely no evidence Crow booked O'Donnell in an effort to sabotage Palin. I seriously doubt it would have achieved that goal anyway.

Everything before the BUT is Bull. It’s a typical liberal qualifier.

That's silly.

Just because you can't hold two separate thoughts in your head simultaneously doesn't mean it can't be done.

I'm only fired up to help Palin win the presidency. If that isn't to be, I'm saying goodbye to all politics and just enjoy my retirement.

Ditto. She is the only candidate with a track record of fighting corruption...if she chooses not to run; I'm done.

One thing missing in all of this... somewhat signally, might I adduce... is any word directly from Sarah Palin.

Until and unless I hear anything directly from Palin, this is all just a pack of PDS warp-horroids playing in the mud.

Don't fall for it. We all have higher aspirations, I'd like to think, than to behave like a bunch of string-hung puppets for Machiavellian filth like this to jerk around at their diseased whim.
