The agency doesn't believe a crime occurred & the officer won't be cited for lewd behavior

SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) -- He's in uniform and apparently on duty. But New Mexico State Police said the officer caught on camera having sex with a woman on the hood of a car did not commit a crime.

to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing was frouned upon, you know, cause I've worked in a lot of offices and I tell you peope do that all the time.

Boss: You're fired.

George: Well you didn't have to say it like that.

Boss: I want you out of here by the end of the day.

George: What about the whole Christmas spirit thing? Any flexability there?

Boss: Nah. Wait, wait, she wanted me to give you this.

He tosses the sweater and it lands right on top of George's face. George walks out of the office "wearing" it.

In the department I used to work for, this is one of the deadly sins - automatic termination, no if ands or buts. it wouldn't matter if it was with his wife of 20 years. You are getting paid to scr*w the motoring public, not some bimbo.

In fact, it is now a pre-employment polygraph question, "While on duty in your employment, have you ever...?"

And yes, it is a crime. There isn't a jurisdiction in the US that doesn't have an open lewdness statute. This was in a public place. This Trooper should be terminated and arrested. Let a jury decide. The corpus delicti certainly is there (pun intended).
