Sheesh. This is like the 10th thread today (so far) from various and different sources on the she will/she won’t run debacle.

I love Sarah either way. But the way she plays the media and the bloggers with all this anticipation is priceless.

Yawn.

This is becoming about as tiresome as Mario Cuomo’s pseudo-candidacies back in the 80’s and 90’s. Get in or get out.

At this point Palin is just going divide up the vote between Perry and Bachman and let Mittens slide through. Not good.

I think she will get in...it is now or never...what does she have to loose???? If Perry wins the primary she may be VP or Energy secretary ....or just raise funds for tea party candidates..and stay with Fox News...Looks like a win win to me...

People that believe she will be directing her comments at Gov Perry regarding crony capitalism haven’t been paying attention.

The crony capitalism taking place is in the WHITE HOUSE.

“Firm believer in free market capitalism. (Nov 2006)”

Make up your mind Sarah.

Crony Capitalism, WhatDoes Crony Capitalism Mean?

A description of capitalist society as being based on the close relationships between businessmen and the state. Instead of success being determined by a free market and the rule of law, the success of a business is dependent on the favoritism that is shown to it by the ruling government in the form of tax breaks, government grants and other incentives. Investopedia explains Crony Capitalism
Both socialists and capitalists have been at odds with each other over assigning blame to the opposite group for the rise of crony capitalism. Socialists believe that crony capitalism is the inevitable result of pure capitalism. This belief is supported by their claims that people in power, whether business or government, look to stay in power and the only way to do this is to create networks between government and business that support each other.

On the other hand, capitalists believe that crony capitalism arises from the need of socialist governments to control the state. This requires businesses to operate closely with the government to acheive the greatest success.

The comments are fun to read. They run the whole gamut from she shouldn't to she will.

The best is that she will wait and see how Perry holds up in his first debate. If he blows it, she will announce. If he doesn't, she will remain on the sidelines. I suspect Perry will exceed real expectations, but may not be able to live up to the hyped expectations.

I still do not believe that Palin is electable. Too much residual damage from he VP run. If Perry stumbles, I think we are all screwed . . . except for the Romney supporters.

Here is what we have learned today about Gov Palin:
she is going to run, she is not going to run
she is going to endorce Perry, she is going to criticize Perry
she is to stupid to live, she is smarter/devious than even Cheney
Bottom line Gov Palin is playing the MSM and they are ready to explode.

Allahpundits useless opinions are pure dripple from a Mitten Supporter desperate to smear his rival Perry.
Allahpundit is a Clown and about as accurate as his pal Karl Rove !
Palin has consistently trashed the Soros Prop as the “crony capitalism with GE, Goldman Sachs, Buffet, Soros , etc....

but might *obliquely* criticize Perry

Should be an article coming out soon, by somebody, somewhere, with an unnamed source close to Palin that she may *perpendicularly* criticize him........At sometime or other, maybe or maybe not.........

Waiting breathlessly.

I’ve learned to treat “sources said”, when the subject is Sarah Palin, as sort of like “once upon a time” or “Dear Penthouse Forum”.

Palin plans to unleash a furious criticism of “crony capitalism” and attack the “permanent political class”

I hope not.

Sarah needs to stay away from these worn-out phases. While cute sounding at first, they now lack impact. Every time I hear the word "sheeple" or "lame stream media" it drives me crazy. Cutesy language does absolutely nothing to communicate a serious, thought-out approach to solving this nation's problems. That is exactly what her speech needs to demonstrate. She isn't speaking only to her fans. She'll be speaking to the nation. I'm sure she knows that. I want Sarah to be Sarah... and we'll be waiting anxiously.

Sounds like she’s running as Third Party Rogue. If so, she’ll likely split the conservative vote. I won’t be following her into third party land...
