Oooh....shouldn’t have made that bet. Sarah’s team spent considerable effort squashing the rumors that she’d announce at this event, a couple of weeks ago.

Sure would be nice, but the message from the Palin camp is that this ain’t the day.

Audio is terrible. Seems a bit disorganized...from my living room :) Perhaps due to the weather.

Move Sarah up in the schedule, please!!

This seem a bit unorganized. A little embarrassing. Any idea how many people there? CSpan only showing tight shots. No wide pans of the crowd. Typical.

I can’t imagine that many. From what I’ve seen there can’t be more the 100 people there.

I'm fine (as tho that matters ;-) with her following RR's lead and waitin' awhile Nov.

She won't wait that long. She'd miss at least a couple important filing dates in October. I'm leaning toward late September now.

Then again, this is Sarah we're talking about. She could announce the day before the Republican debate to suck all of the air out of the news cycle. Better yet, on the day of Bambi's "big jobs speech".

Click TPA Rally 1 button — it connects to C-Span live feed of tea party. I just tried it.

Is the event in Des Moines?

Weather Channel has a four-hour forward looking predictive radar map, showing the storm breaking almost exactly at 1:15pm for Des Moines.

On now, Sam Clovis, talker from KSCJ. Hope he has more stage presence than the other guy. The other guy’s speech probably read well, but as a speech it was flat.

Romney has good hair too, but he wasn’t known as an airhead or as “Mr. Goodhair” when he was governor.
